Hi Cheryl! Thanks for pointing me here. So far this show looks to be the best portrayal I've ever seen of a decent therapist. The patients are more immediately combative and inclined to take over his space than anything I've seen (which, of course, makes for better drama) but his responses and his presence are working pretty darn well for me. I'll be curious to hear what you think of it all as it develops.
