Wow, pretty interesting stuff. The acting is really good in this show, don't you think?
You say: "Basically patients act out with time ... by coming too early, too late, the wrong day, missing the session, trying to run over time, calling the therapist."
So if a therapist is exhibiting those behaviors does that mean he is acting out? I had a therapist who would forget my appointments, or run really late, or put me down for the wrong time (even though I came at the same time every week) or cancel a lot. I have to say, I took it personally even though he said it had nothing to do with me. Maybe he just couldn't face his own issues? Or was it me? I guess I'll never know.

Yes, it is acting out. It could be issues i his life far more than anything in yours.
I think the acting is terrific!
