This is really enjoyable to read after watching the show each week (I found your site on a link from wikipedia)!
I am surprised you aren't even more critical of Gina's therapy with Paul. In the first sessions esp. she seemed so judgmental and unempathetic. In therapy (with Sophie I think?) Paul said that the patient gets to "drive" and "steer" the car of therapy. Whenever Paul is with Gina, though, it seems that Gina is doing all of the driving and steering. This is frustrating. I wish Paul could be in therapy with... Paul.

The problem is here that it's unclear for all of us, Gina included, just what it is that Paul wants from Gina. Their past history keeps intruding and becomes a focus for his resistance. Is he looking for supervision? Or is he seeking therapy? Does he know?
