I don't think you should say this is presented for educational purposes only: you're speculating about something that DIDN'T happen in a piece of pop culture. Could you make a blog entry about the Sopranos ending too? I'm reallllly in the dark about that one. Do you think Tony's subconscious led him into that camera cutaway on purpose? And this makes me further question Wikidedia's quality standards.
I didn't say this was for educational purposes. The show is entertainment. But it is the best depiction so far of therapy and how therapists operate that I have seen. And I can see it having value in clinical training programs to stimulate discussion of a number of clinical issues and problems, especially of erotic transference.
Beyond that, I believe it is perfectly valid to speculate about what happens in any work of fiction. And I am clear that my thoughts about what Paul may do are mine alone and that they are the outgrowth of my wishes. I don't see a problem there.
Oh, and I think Tony died and that what the going to black was about.
