Yes, those beads look like the kumquats! I really like them with the navy. I enjoy gifting my shawls too.
I bought the Arabian Nights kit, so it's nice to see yours with the clear beads. I decided to use dark purple beads and will start knitting once I get done petting the yarn.

I think you're right about the beads and the kumquats.
Also correct about not having to put up with nasty people. I will accept constructive criticism, but people who have to be nasty are not doing anything productive. Of course there are those who thrive on seeing others miserable and helping those others to be miserable (I have family members that are like this). The easiest thing to do is to stay away. You did it by blocking them, I did it by moving away to a better place.
