My husband is a psychotherapist and I come from a family of therapists ( my father was one of the founders of family systems therapy). Last month I purchased the First Season of In Treatment on DVD and we are slowly working our way through the season watching several shows at a time, pausing, discussing, re-viewing the dialogue, the looks, the interaction. It has been a great pleasure to find your blog and read your commentary after our discussion and viewing. Although my husband likes to complain about the writing and that no therapist would break so many boundaries as Paul does, we are both deepening our insights and perspectives on the therapeutic process by viewing and analyzing this program. Thank you for being a thoughtful "third party" in our discussions and reflections on "In Treatment".
