I often hear from a variety of people that their kids have ADHD, bi polar disorder and more.
I always just have to ask, what behavior is making you think that.
"Oh, it's the school...his teacher thinks he is. He runs around too much, plays too rough, talks too often, has trouble following directions..."
Since when are those actions a sign of something other than a little problem with discipline? It sounds like over stimulation and just basic kid-stuff.
I mean, I know there are children with real issues out there...problems that need treatment. But sometimes, what a child needs is a few hours outside to run off some of that energy. That, and some discipline, and I don't mean the spanking kind!
Just my thoughts...

It horrifies me when I hear these stories about American children being diagnosed with mental illnesses far too young. It just seems like a couple of shrinks would like some more money and don't have any morality to get in the way of this.
Thankfullly the attitude where I live is somewhat different.
