I always invite patients who end with me to stay in touch if they desire and I welcome emails or letters from them. When I ended with my analyst, I kept in touch once or twice a year.

I like that phrase ..."on the way to becoming". I was reading your other posts about mid-life and at age 48 I feel I am just now "on the way to becoming" my self again, after raising 3 daughters and one being disabled, I never thought I was on my way "to myself" if that makes sense.
