I love it, Cheryl!
I love how the snake heads look also like leaves and at the same time, flowers!!!!!
Love the movement as well. Your design is over the top.
I know what you mean about the DIC Baby.
There are aspects that I really like. For example, the lack of pooling is wonderful. And I like the complex colors. I agree with you about the lack of shine. If they could figure out how to add some silk sheen that would be fantastic. I think you will like it better after it is blocked. I had never knitted with sock weight or fingering weight yarn before knitting with Baby. I found it to be a very different experience. I think there are some patterns that lend themselves to a heavier yarn than lace weight, especially some by Anne Hanson. And I think the Baby yarns work well. When I think of Eve though, I am thinking that a yarn without sheen might fit my personal image of Eve.
Are you having as much fun as it looks?

I am having fun with this design -- a lot of fun. The center panel is still in process and will take a lot more work because I am having to combine cabling and a really lacy look to get what I want. But fun -- you bet!
