In Treatment arrived in Australia recently – only on dvd thus far. I was fascinated by the show, though with some reservations that this is drama, etc. Particularly impressed by the Sophie segments (and the actress is an Aussie, yeh!). Googling, as I do when a topic tickles my fancy, I found your site, and still in the middle of digesting your comments on Season 1. Season 2 has been quarantined until that season arrives on these shores – I confess I peaked at Week 1 of Season 2, then told myself to show some restraint. I’m not a psychotherapist, although quite well read on the theory, and may venture into training next year.
Just wanted to say thank you for this link across the cyber world – or post-human world according to some though I reckon it is maybe just a new form of the relational.
And the photo of your cat lying on your legs really amused me – was it the juxtaposition of your cat’s eyes and those on your footwear, or just a cat being a cat. Wonderful. I’m still smiling.
