RickyD Fan here, I like the spin-off site. Not necessarily all the content, but the views are appreciated. Keep it up guys! Also, do think there is an easier way to post, I am waaay too lazy to set up a blogger id.

Thanks RickyDfan. Just for you I hope Buckets goes for 50 tonight!

I'll try and fix the blog up over the weekend and hopefully make the posting thing easier. Thanks to everyone for coming by.

It's not Pierce. It's the rest of the team. When Pierce is on the court, the other players stop playing for some reason and wait for Pierce to do something almost every time. When Pierce is not playing well, the other teams (who's strategy every time for the last 4 years is to stop Pierce) usually eases up. Throw in the trash time minutes on blow outs, and you seemingly have it where the team on paper looks better off with Pierce off the court. He's not former #8 here.

It's like the early 90's when everyone said that the Celts were better off without Larry Bird on the court.

Why do his teammates play worse when he's on the court? Could it be that he doesn't play within a team offense?

not a big difference between 9-12 and 7-8. both records suck.

i remember last year when the celtics had a good record w/ walter starting... we all know how that worked out when he started on a regular basis.

Make that 8-8.

That's why it's the obscure stat of the week. Glean from it whatever you wish.
