Yeah, Ricky must be making West take his urine tests or something. He's been terrific on the court, and he matches DA's 'style', but something must be up for his name to come up so much. I would be very sad to see him go.
As for GP, it doesn't seem, right now, like there's much out there in terms of a trade. Why not let him ride out the reminder of the season and clear the contract off the books?

Disclaimer: I'm not sure I actually started yelling "I hate Waltah" in 1997, it might have really been in his 2nd or 3rd season. I do look back with great fondness, however, at that year when he had turf toe and barely played (01?)

PS: I just read on the Celtics official site that (asst-coach) Tony Brown's wife's name is Exquilynn. I'm not sure whether to make the "sExquillyn" joke or the "ex-wife-lynn" joke, so I'll just leave it out there for you to decide.

I think the only reason Ricky comes up so much is that he has a very tradable contract. $ for output it is one of the more attractive contracts in the league. At least this is what I am hoping. I really would be upset if he was moved. And after Ainge worked hard to get him last year I don't think he is as available as he might seem.
Pierce is essentially off limits. Big money man, and no one is that unhappy with their superstar (except is R.Allen isn't going to resign with Seattle) to move them.
I don't see any big moves taking place with this team. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep moving pieces. I believe that the reason the Spurs have been so good lately is the continuity of the team. Switching half you team around each year doesn't add value to it.
But I am not the gm, it should be fun. Doc, good luck with the AMA

thank you RDF, brother, they are jackals.
I completely agree with what yr saying about continuity, and that's something we haven't had since Pitino took over. Every goddamn year it's eight new players and talk of starting over. At least Ainge HAD to do what he did, and I think all of his moves have been great, even if it took awhile to understand some of them. That said, I think the guy has an itchy finger and will at least entertain moving Buckets or PP - but the chance of anything huge going down I agree is slim. (Jesus, I sound like Chad Ford... "something might happen or it might not")

prediction for tonight and in general is that the Celts will struggle to score with Big Al out. Phoenix wins something like 115-89.
