This is a team we should beat at home. Not a bad game, but we’re just not that good.

Gravatar I had a NBA Draft dream involving the Celtics 2005 picks last night - I'm being serious here, this actually happened -- the first time I ever dreamed about the NBA Draft and shortly after a dream in which I was chased by an evil dwarf
or encountered an evil dwarf -- and here are the results.

Splitter was the first name that was conveyed to me concerning the Celtics.

The other name was Paul. But it might be Paul Milsapp,
rather than Chris Paul. But Splitter definitely has to be Tiago Splitter

Those are the only two names that were announced to me. In the dream, I seemed to be in another room away from the media source announcing the picks, so the information was somehow relayed to me.

Gravatar Ray, you have received transmissions from either the future or the mind of David Lynch. Either way they are more entertaining than last night's loss. Must be a Pierce trade involved if we get two likely lottery picks...

Gravatar Fun game to watch, Ricky is seriously having an impact. If they could play the whole game like they did in the 4th, it would have been a blowout. Unfortunately, a running team that doesn't run doesn't win.

I don't think I can agree with the comments on Blount's performance, although I see and respect your point. He still didn't give me what I want out of a center. I can hit an 18 footer, so can everybody else on the team, even the 6'2" guys. We need our 7-foot player to clean the glass.

Side question - Where the heck is Delonte West (I know, cheerleading; but why)?

Gravatar yeah, I probably was too kind to Blount, but it seemed like the first game in a long time where he had any kind of impact that wasn't negative. Someone on Celticsblog once said that we should try to trade him as a point guard who can't rebound, and I thought that was pretty funny and true.

With West I would guess they're either showcasing Marcus for a trade (less likely) or he violated some cryptic Doc rule in practice and now will have to prove himself again. It sucks, because when GP goes it'd be nice to have DWest playing with a little confidence and experience.

Gravatar I know... If GP leaves we are going to do some juggling at the point for sure. I would really like GP to stay on at least through the 22nd, it would be fun to see how he reacts to playing the Lakers after they pretty much screwed him (and Shaq, and Phil, and Rudy T). But that is not looking as likely as it did a month ago.
