Funny thing. Pierce is named player of the week when PP-buttfuckers at celticsblog didn’t even name him player of the game during that span.
The fact that PP is getting these accolades during his mediocre season just proves my name – Pierce is overrated!

Yeah... Last night's game sucked donkey balls. Everybody but Justin Reed was over rated last night.
On the other hand, Reed had a career night, and looked pretty solid on the floor. I hope to see some more of him minutes that count. It is the only way to see if he has what it takes.

Reed definitely looked solid... as solid as the fecal matter I want to throw at Walter. It'll be interesting to see who wins the minutes between him and Googs. West looked good, but there's definitely some funky shit going on between him, Banks and Jiri. Like it's Banks and Jiri trying to keep the ball out of his hands.

I just got the title! That was clever, and now I have had caffeine so my brain is working a little bit better now.
I noticed that too, about keep away from West. They probably just don't know who he is yet, and Jiri and Banks have to know that one of them is toast sooner rather than later. We can only have so many mediocre 1's and 2's on a team and still be successful.
That's so fucked up if Banks is trying to show up West, no wonder he's supposedly being aggressively shopped by Ainge. West made a couple solid passes that led to assists for other guys last night (ie: it would have been an assist in hockey) that made me optimistic about his ability as a floor general. Granted, it was garbage time, but he still seems to understand the game better than Marcus.
Jiri had the worst game of his career last night, IMO. Not stat wise, but just looking completely lost. There's our other mediocre 2.
Yes Jiri is. And that is fine, every team needs mediocre players to give their good players a few minutes off. The mediocre guys won't win a game for you, but they won't blow big leads either. Unfortunately, we have a shitload of them on our roster and only two guys who can really go out and win it for you (PP and my man Ricky!). But when it comes down to it, neither of them are consistently going to do it. You just hope when one is off, the other is on.
Jiri couldn't carry a load if he swallowed it. Banks just wants to run, which is good if he joins a track team...

You've gotta give the guy some positive reinforcement. Maybe yelling his name will bring him back to reality, and inspire him to make a play. It is a little sad that he looks sleepy and distant when playing. TMac pulls it off nicely, but he is actually working his ass off out there. Blount is really just trying to take that paycheck home. Upside though is that we are going to have a back up for Yogi Stewart when he leaves at the end of the season.
What a win last night! I stopped watching after the first when it looked like another blowout. But then all of a sudden they came charging back and I put it back on in the 4th. What a win, West has a whole lot of heart, and Tony Allen should be our new captain. That kid can get any one pumped up.
Yeah, Ricky, those two played inspired ball. Great to see West back in Doc's good graces, with Banks riding the pine.
Can Pierce start a game strong? The past couple weeks, even when he has a good game, he seems to start off horribly, putting the team in a hole.
Pierce is not over rated. Vince Carter is. The most votes for someone who averaged 14pts a game, on 2 teams that suck worse in the worst division. You should all be happy PP isn't dogg'n it like Spreewell this year. No way Danny could trade PP for anything close to even value. 3 first round picks for Kmart? 3 for Vince? The C's would have to get 5 first round picks from the Clippers to make it worth it.
I'm not arguing Carter isn't overrated - he is. But so is Pierce. Do you really think he's an All-Star over Bosh, Okafor, Francis, et all?
