Holy shit. I mean, HOLY SHIT.
Banks player of the game, wow. Will the real Dr. Chestnutt please stand up.
Nice job, Dr., I was wondering how you would address Banks' game last night. Lots of energy, defense, and passing (that one to Blount was the best, of course the 7-footer couldn't slam it down, fucker). Notice how Banks comes out really focused after a good showing by West? I think it happened last time too.
Coose is the BEST. I love how Tommy would tell him about the various young players like Mr. Cousy hasn't seen them play, ever.

dude, definitely, Banks only plays well when his playing time is threatened. It's fucking ridiculous that he can't motivate himself or stay focused otherwise... kind of like everyone at the hospital we work at (hahaha). I'm still curious why Doc yanked him because Delonte was already at the scorer's table when he made that asinine behind-the-back turnover.
More in Banks's defense, it's got to be tough playing the point with the thought that any single little fuck-up is going to get you pulled. But you didn't hear that from me... (the real Chestnutt returns) Trade the fucker!

Greg Dickerson on WEEI just said the Celtics have had some inquiries about Blount. I personally think he'll be dealt in the off season, when his BYC
is done.
Did you see where Boozer might be available?
Davis, Payton, and Perkins for Boozer works, and a great pick-up, if Al can play center ala Stoudamire in Phoenix.

I heard Cousy talking to Eddie Andelman mid day (book promotion) and he said he hasn't seen the Celtics since the game he sat in on in Miami. So Cousy is really trying to pretend he doesn't watch the Celtics or he doesn't watch the Celtics. No big deal, I like a fresh persective. Now that I think of it, maybe he doesn't watch because he can't stand listening to Tommy (ha ha). BTW/ Why are you guys so hard on Tommy? He's been doing the games for ever, never misses one, he loves the Celtics sometimes to a fault, mostly he just wants to see them win and the fact that they don't really kills him. Besides his wife's dying of cancer. Give the guy a break.

I think my problem with Tommy is that before Johnny Most died he was a fairly objective color man who even did national broadcasts. I think since Most died he's trying to replace him as #1 fan, but instead of being a regular guy like Johnny was, he's this know-it-all who gets all pissy when people dare criticize the C's. Thus, he sounds more like a company man than a person who truly loves the team. On the other hand, though I bitch about him I do like listening to him and prefer the FSN guys over any other regional broadcast partnership I've ever heard. They at least have some spirit.

that trade is tempting, but I still have doubts about Al playing center. More suprising is that anyone in the league would have any interest in Blount after seeing his post-contract true colors. I still pray for an offseason sign-n-trade with Philly for Dalembert. That would let Al develop into a starter next to a solid big-man, and let Raef and Perk play together in a pretty damn good second unit combo. Even if we can't get Dalembert, we're so much better off without Blount.

Boozer's contract locks you up more than Blount's, but is a superior player to our seven foot pussy. Dalembert will be cheaper with a similiar game.
I still love Tommy despite his obvious flaws.
