nice work dude. as it stands, I can't see the Celtics owners allowing Danny to let AW walk and trade Pierce over the summer. Assuming they make the playoffs there's going to be a "we're just a couple pieces away" spin coming from up top, and that means we're basically back where we were in 2001. Let that sink in.

Say what you want about Walker but if ainge didn't come in we probably would have signed him to a max deal. That isn't going to happen now. Toine is robbing minutes from players who need the development. I totally agree with that. If we were trying to rebuild the house, we wouldn't use old wood from out neighbors house, would we? Of course not. We want our fresh young players in there developing to build a solid foundation. Unfortunately Wyc & Co are trying to rebuild this team to its former glory. But that is the glory of 2002 and not of 1986.

C'mon cut Toine a little slack. If Payton comes back to the Celts, that means we got Toine for Yogi and washed up. You guys can't be serious when you say you'd rather watch those guys on the bench, rather than Toine and Pierce running their little back door play? If we get Payton back , I think the C's will get to the second round, past Orlando. Then the C's have a shot at beating Lebron...voila East Conference loss to Detroit.

Thanks CT, and yes Celtworld, I would rather see the kids develop than watching AW and PP shot 35%.

Seriously, we made the playoffs last year, what good did it do? Develop the young guys for a real run for glory three years from now. I'm patient, I'd rather see the team go in that direction.
