So Kendrick isn't going to play again this season?? Seriously I haven't seen him yet. I am not even sure he was dressed for the game last night. That is some bullshit. The kid had playing alright, he needs more experience to develop like all 20 year olds not named LeBron.

'Toine won't be back next season, and if he is we are in deep shit. He has publicly stated that he wouldn't sign for $8 million so him and Pierce getting max contracts for sub par performance leaves us languishing in the land of the Mavericks without their charismatic owner or his checkbook.

If we are only renting 'Toine for 26 games, than why aren't we developing his replacement a bit more.

On the bright side, I love the rebounding thing. That is what makes a great team.

Great game by RICKY!!!

I just don't see any way the owners will let Toine walk at the end of the season. We'll be just respectable enough and that'll be enough to bring people back to the Fleet, and that's all these guys care about.

Yeah, great game by Ricky. Also, this had to be one of the greatest evenings of broadcast malaprops in a long time. Ricky being interviewed by Willie Maye after the game, clearly wanting to get the fuck out of there, saying things like "we played hard in the fourth half", etc. Tommy screaming "great pass by Tony Allen!!!" Big Al calling the game "totally crunk." That's the sort of thing that always brings me back...

Can something be said in favor of the fact that pieces (i.e. Delonte, Allen, and Jefferson) are emerging around the core players who could make the team signficantly better then the version from a couple years ago. Some growth may be stunted by loss of time, but Antoine 2.0 has been a working experiment so far.

the team may be "significantly better" but we already know that the primary engine of Pierce and Walker doesn't work well enough to beat the elite teams. They have hit their ceiling and it does not touch the banners in the rafters.

Agreed. Number 17 is going to be won without Paul and 'Toine on the floor. Like the guys or not, unless Shaq or Duncan make their way through the door it isn't going to happen with our current "superstars".

Personally I think Ricky is the guy that can light it up in the playoffs, because he loves playing and loves big games. He can't get it done on his own either though. Nice development from TA and AJ in the next two seasons, keeping Ricky and signing at least 2 great players can get it done though.

Great players I wouldn't mind seeing in green are all playing for the Pacers right now. O'Neal? Artest? Rumors say Artest could be had for a low price

Gravatar Sounds like a pis hard. The right things are happening for all the wrong reasons.

Gravatar At least they are still fun to watch. Up tempo ball is much more exciting than the 3 and D we had been running in previous years.

Gravatar a piss-hard... hahaha, that had me laughing for like an hour.

Gravatar I think Toine will be a good influence on Al. Show the kid what not to do. lol. I mean, I bet Al can already shoot 3's like Toine. At least I know that Danny is looking to unload hands of stone blount this summer. Thank the heavens they traded Jiri away. Danny must have been tired of him looking bad in his old uniform. lol

Gravatar Hey... wasn't there a comment on here you deleted??? That's censorship!!!

I think it is funny that this is a refuge for all the poor tired huddled masses from celticsblog, fighting for free speech & the American way, free from King Jeff's Opression, and you are doing the same thing you accuse him of!!!

Utterly hilarious!
