Gravatar Correct me if I a wrong, but didn't AW go 1 for 6 at the line last night. Blah
Those rookies are going to get blisters sitting on that bench.

Gravatar Granted Pierce looked like a tool when he threw his shit fit last night, but from what I saw he led off the game with some pretty good play and he was the only one putting forth maximum effort from the get go. Payton absolutely sucked as did Antoine who looked afraid to go into the post. Pierce was also the reason this team was able to win the game last night because of his play in the fourth quarter. Although they did win the problems I saw were on the offensive glass and at the point guard position not on the wings. I guess even when they win it's Pierce's fault they didn't win by a larger amount.

You're going Ahab on us, get some meds before it's too late.

Gravatar Technically Ricky's scoring in the 2nd and third kept got us the win. PP picked up the slack in the 4th when Ricky had trouble finding the hole. But all game it was the Ricky show getting the points.

As for the game, ATL should have won. They wanted it more. We have a superior talent and payroll and they had everything else. If half of our team wanted to win last night we would have beat them by 20.

Best part of the game "I feel like OJ, we got away with one here" - Doc Rivers post game conference

Gravatar It's like lately this team acts like they don't have to put out maximum effort to win. Have'nt seen this much cocky behavior since a Long Dong Silver video. We better get our heads out of our asses, or we may not even win the Atlantic.

Gravatar a 3 game lead in this division isn't shit. Especially when we have to play Motown, Wash and Houston in three of our next 5. They are tough, and if CWebb ever catches fire Philly could still have a shot. I don't think they will, but you just can't tell.

On a separate note, SHAQ IS AWESOME! I ws just looking at the standings and he turned a blown up Heat team into the Conference best, and would have been the leagues best if he hadn't just missed those two games with a knee injury. How valuable is he? It is essentially Shaq, a still developing Flash and a bunch of guys who make no money and most people have never heard of. Sorry about that, I was in awe for a moment

Gravatar 30 games over .500

Wow.

Gravatar I may be wet dreamin', but I think we could beat the heat. Let Raef play center, plant him on the 3 point line, and let him shoot when open. If Shaq comes out, go inside. Of course, we gotta play a lot fuckin smarter than we did last night.

Gravatar What do we do on defense? No one on the C's can stop Shaq, or Wade for that matter.

Gravatar On top of the Miami is tied with San Antonio for the best record against teams with + .500 average. They aren't just beating shitty teams like NO, they are whipping ass on teams like San An, Houston, LA, etc...

On paper we can beat them every night. On the court, I don't think we can. Especially not with Shaq's new habit of hitting free throws.

Gravatar Eh, Wade would be easier to stop with Tony Allen and Ricky. Shaq would destroy everyone on the Celtics. Perk could have a shot at holding Shaq best, but he'd need a lot more playing time. Toine and Pierce would in turn be matched up against scrubs on the Heat. It'd be fun to watch. PierceOverrated is just lucky Steve Francis isn't a celtic. There's overrated.

Gravatar Than I'd be FranchiseOverrated.

Remember when the Heat "scrub" Damon Jones lit us up? He can shot.

Gravatar you're site blows hog.

Gravatar Hey willie, here's a thought - GO TO A DIFFERENT SITE. I never understood why little cocksuckers like yourself feel the need to post non-content related "bombings". Maybe you aren't getting any at home?

Gravatar Thanks RDFan, we've been a little erratic as far as up-dates go.

Well, Willie, something about this site makes you keep coming back.

Gravatar You guys like hoops and I guess you're passionate, although I'm not sure a Passion Play is always indicative of 'passion' or if it's marks mental ineptitude. You shit on the Celts when they win, you shit on them when they lose. Sometimes there are nuggets of insight here but mostly it is just vitriol and disgust. You basically only post when the evidence supports your theories and then when the evidence contradicts your theories there is only silence. I have busted on Antoine as much as anyone, and watching him play drives me up a wall, but your disdain for Pierce I really just don't understand. It is more typical of know nothing talk show hosts than it is of astute basketball observers. Pierce has been playing great basketball almost the entire year, he clearly struggled in November and early December but ever since then he has been a demon on the court. You still cling to your idea that Pierce sucks and is a malcontent. Oh well. If you want to be angry all the time why not

Gravatar .... root for the Sixers or the Knicks?

Do you even enjoy basketball? Or is it just a vehicle for you to express homoerotic desire for former Huskie Ray Allen?

Gravatar We've been coming from behind a lot lately, so the less homoerotic talk, the better.

Gravatar Mmmm.... I don't believe I have ever seen that term used so often on a website. There is plenty of praise doled out for the Celtics on several other websites, this is the contrary position - hence the name CelticsDoom. It is nice to view the different perspectives, and not just smell the roses. I personally enjoy all the hard work on the different blogs dedicated to my favorite basketball team. I also enjoy listening to everyone's opinions.

Gravatar That's a lot of thought for a web site you don't think highly of, Willie.

Almost the entire year? Pierce sucked until a good run in January, and a great February. You know why I hate Pierce, 1 minute left in a close game last night and he forces into a double team and loses the ball. Thank God Ricky bailed him out.

Pierce is like McGrady, great numbers, never makes his teammates better, questionable attitude and never won a thing.

Gravatar C'mon, you have to give a little credit to Pierce. With all the wacked up crapolla last year, Pierce still got the C's into the playoffs. That's a heck of a lot better than T-mac did last year. Look at Orlando now, you'd think McGrady was the cancer last year. With Antoine back, Pierce of old is back. He played 51 minutes the other night and had zero turnovers, 38pts, with 12 reb!

Gravatar Didn't win a thing? Looks like Pierce and the Celts will win the Atlantic Division this year. They'll beat Orlando, or the Bulls in the first round. Then what the Cavs, Detroit? Sounds like a heck of a series. Check out these predictions from yesteryear.

Gravatar I actually come for the good Doctor's insights. You're Ahab, P.O.R., you need to give it up and just enjoy watching a solid team play some good basketball.

It's called 'entertainment' for a reason.

Gravatar I do enjoy watching UConn, thanks.

Gravatar the silence is defeaning.

Gravatar Hey, what happened here? No posts in a while. At least trash Pierce for getting ejected in Houston, or trash Toine for missing the last 20 shots within 3 feet. What happened to you? You used to be beautiful, as Samuel Jackson said to Robert Dinero.
