Great write up dude.
The best part was Doc after the game complaining about being "too cocky" and Pierce (rightfully) saying how they're basically encouraged to be cocky when they win, and now because they lost it's "too cocky."
That didn't come out too clear, but you get what I'm saying. I need to start a quote board of all Doc's double-talk.

It is alright. I wasn't all that impressed with Ricky either. He has definitely gone over board on more than one occasion this year talking trash to people.
If they had just played, and done a basic game, they would have one. I think the Knicks had forty million turnovers last night. They definitely didn't play well, but we played much much worse. This wasn't even playing down to your competition, this was playing 8th grade ball against the high school jv team. It was appalling.
Pierce isn't backing up his teammates (AW does, but I hate admitting that), and seems to think that 11 wins equates to a championship. Which is not quite the case. Luckily the Pistons had a piss poor showing last night too, and that is stealing some of the awful attention.

and that's the thing when they talk about leadership and Pierce's lack thereof - I'm alright with Ricky flying off the handle, because that's part of the package with him. But when yr supposed best player (pierce) acts like a complete fuckhead and can't back it up on the court, that's a problem. Ricky is like an Artest or KMart - you want him to be edgy to an extent. But you need your Paul Pierce to set a goddamn example.

Good point Dr.
If you're going to have a Ricky, you need either a strong coach or a strong captain.
We have neither.

It's like the difference between a turd and a fart. A turd lays there for all the world to see. If you step on it, you are in a world of shit. A fart comes out blasting and gets everyone's attention, but then disappears in the wind. Last night we were nothing but a great big fart.

hahhahaha, that's cool whassup.
Pierce last night ='s going to the bar and hitting on some chick and thinking you're cool because she goes home with you, but then it turns out she has a dick, and it's bigger than yours, and then she fucks you with it in front of all of your friends.
Could have used that seven foot pussy!

Interesting use of "potty terms" definitely showcasing that ivy league education. Last night we came out to sit down, smugly, and assumed that we owned the game. It was evident that this was not the case. Chi-town is going to be a great challenge to see how we rebound (both literally and figuratively).
I wish management would see that we need help on the glass. As effective as Toine is as a leader, he is not going to clean the glass (at least not with consistency).

Gary back it up? I think Tim Tomas is thinking about the Glove of old. Celtic player of the game was either Perk or Banks. That's how sad it was.
And, yes of cource NY beat us bad on the glass. Why wouldn't they? Dumbass Isiah loaded up half the team with power forwards. If they didn't beat the C's in rebounds they would really suck. (like the last 3 times) Ya think Ricky's gonna out muscle Sweetney, Tim Thomas, Rose, Taylor, Williams, or Butler? Plus Kurt Thomas is on IL. Talk about a bad GM.
The Celts should have won, but they shot worse than some 6th graders.

They should field a squad with all five PW on the floor at the same time.
Pierce is a bitch, isn't he. Remember when he told NJ that no one could guard him, and then they did?

I guess when a team is charging into the playoffs the only thing to do when you're a bitter hack is resort to Shaughnessy-like criticism. I think you could get a spot on WEEI with basketball analysis like this. You'd think the bitter hack quotient was full in Boston but I guess there's always room for more.

Hey willie, your mom gave me the best head last night. Thank her for me, will ya? Thanks buddy!
Pierce is no longer interested in playing basketball. At least not in green. If he wants to be the supreme leader of the team, then he needs to step it up. Having a bad day, or planning his upcoming wedding is absolutely no excuse for his lack of effort and poor performances. If I were the coach, Pierce would sit tonight against Detroit to illustrate a point (hopefully we would win, it would get the message through to him).

The schedule isn't getting any easier coming up either DB. The Mavs are one tough customer. After that we can can get some easy W's, if the boys stay focused. Last time we played ATL, they almost scalped us. Let's hope we bring our game face. Philly is going to be a great game too.

We'll beat Dallas, I would think. Yr right RDF, the Philly game should be great. As long as Evil Toine goes away and Pierce stops crying and starts playing team ball, we might even win.

When Doc said they were going to work Antoine into the offense I had no idea they would use the playbook from 2002. It's been great watching 4 guys stand outside the three point line for 40 minutes watching Pierce and Walker dribble into triple teams and huck up low percentage shots. Wake me up when they start fast breaking and passing again.

They had better have a good game plan for Dallas. With Dampier back up and running, Dallas can be a tough opponent. I look for a relative no name to have big night for them, maybe J. Terry? I think we will be able to shutdown Dirk (more or less, he will still drop 20 and grab ten). If we can control the rest of the players, it could turn out to be a W. But this win is going to be fought for hard. Harder than in Detroit, and harder than we have played since the double overtime with Detroit here in Boston.

You know they'll beat Dallas. Walker will want that one bad enough, plus a 3 game slide with a tough loss to the Bulls and Pistons will energize them. Dallas plays no D anyhow, so the Celts should win.
We need someone else besides the standard cast to step up. Al Jefferson is due for a big game, and that's exactly what the Celts need. Just a few extra plays/points from Delonte, Banks, Perk, TA, Blount, AL. They've been dead weight the last 3 games. Bench scoring has been down lately.
Anyone miss Jiri, or Googs?

Win, I believe that the only reason bench scoring has been down as of late if that their minutes have been all but eliminated. Al has played only 16 minutes in the last three losses, including a DNP. West and Banks have combined for only 30 or so in the three games. In order to be productive, they actually have to step onto the court.
