If David Stern gets any shit from Congress about performance enhancing drugs I suggest he roll the tape from the first quarter of yesterday's game. Those guys arent' doing anything but taking bong hits and getting blow jobs (and I say good for them). It really looked like they were all hung over. Pierce had a great game last night. His postgame press conference and actions in the fourth quarter to 'rally' the team and prevent a collapse are chinks in the armor of those that think he lacks leadership qualities. He also did a great job of sharing the ball down the stretch. The Celtics overcame alot last night to get that win. The officiating was horrific, I normally don't try and blame things on the officials, but the Celtics were going to the basket just as much as the Wizards were and there was at least 5 times that Arenas got bailed out with phantom foul calls.

I think it is noteworthy that Pierce played better without Walker on the floor and with Payton taking on more of the direction of the offense. Also without Toine there wasn't 4 guys sitting outside the three point line watching one guy go to the basket, also one less guy bitching to the refs. Walker stagnates the flow.
