Pierce wouldn't go to New Orleans, no matter what. So squash that up front. The Cavs are going to fuck themselves because they won't have the dough to resign LeBron when the time comes. Not that he is going to want to stay anyway, because Redd is going to resing and stay on the Bucks. They are destined for mediocrity for the foreseable future, led by their aging wing player. The bad teams in this league are just getting worse. Much worse. Cleveland can't win with big Z under the hoop. He doesn't have the mobility to get them into the finals. If they didn't have LBJ they wouldn't have won 10 games this year. That kid is awesome, but he needs to get his ass on a real team. One that can and does compliment his ability before it is too late. Every game where he has to contribute 50% of the offense, 60% of the defense and 70% of the assists takes time off his career. |

yeah, old 'bronny is going to age 10 years being around for his last two years in Cleveland. Z is a disaster, he's in the same class as Antoine as one of these guys that makes a shitload of money but who the fuck really wants them on their team. I'm not sure Redd stays with the Bucks. That he didn't sign the deal right away and is meeting with the Cavs to me says alot. If he had an understanding with the Bucks late last season, he sure doesn't seem to have it now. |

Maybe he is looking for sponsors and endorsement deals. That might be the advantage Cleveland has. With LeBron and Redd, they are going to put fans in the seats, probably even make the playoffs. Either way it will get them more national media attention (which Redd doesn't get) and make him a household name. This could pay off big for him, especially if they do some damage in the playoffs. But 5 years from now will he still be looking for that check? |
