Dickau signing is great for the C's. He is a fast pg that can pass and run. Unfortunately, we now have 1134 point guards, and 232454 wing players.
I think Pierce sounded somewhat contrite in his interview, and hopefully he'll come in and set an example. Getting rid of Antoine and Payton is a good thing, the three of them started getting way too cocky. Sounds like Ricky Davis has matured, maybe we're in for a big surprise. I don't know what's going to happen with Dickau, Greene, West, and Banks, but like Dr. Chestnutt, I'll be watching as well.

It's tough to tell with Pierce in his interviews if he's sincere or just being pissy, moreso in a print thing. I'm hopeful I guess. I think most people will be surprised if he lasts the season as a Celtic, including him, but who the fuck knows.
Pierce saying the code of conduct was put in for the younger players is delusional. It sure worked great for Tony Allen. What is the code of conduct, shoot but don't get shot? ( maybe the Wizards need to adopt one ). I don't know what worked worse, the Celtic's code of conduct or Control's cone of silence.

I was glad to learn that Brian Scalabrine really really really wanted to play for the Boston fans. That must have put us over the top with all the other teams out there offering 5-year guarenteed deals. Gee Wyc, I no longer view you as a bottom-line obsessed corporate suit who insults the intelligence of his team's fan base. Really I don't.

Dr., I agree with you on Scalabrine. I am very pleased to know that he wanted to come here, and will sleep much better tonight knowing such. He was such a valuable asset to NJ, I can't believe they let us steal him away. He should add at least 20 points for the team this season.

I think they have to be positive... It would be a really bad broadcast to sit and listen to them complaining about how the C's make shitty decisions and Blount and Scalabrine could be the two worst players over 6'10" in the league. Accurate, refreshing but not something Wyc and co would deal with.
