I'll add Doc to my shit list.

yeah definitely. My bad.

Gravatar The performance of the team to date reminds me of the name the Chinese couple gave to their blue eyed, blonde haired bouncing baby: Sum Ting Wong.

Gravatar Dr. C., PO,
What about Mr. Perp Walk himself Tony Allen? Will you organize a campaign to send him some soap on a rope?

Gravatar okay WOTR you're back in my good graces.

It would have to be Irish Spring.

Gravatar If you send him the soap on a rope, tell him it's from Dr. Ben Dover.

Gravatar hahaha. Tony Allen was once going to be traded for Baron Davis, now he's going to be traded for cigarettes. Clench Tony! Clench!

Gravatar Good list nominee: Orien Greene. He's head and shoulders above the rest and should be the starter, with DWest getting the second units guard, which he may be able to handle. Dickau and Bynum, flush the toilet. I think Scalaburine is the Polaroid negative of McFarty; apparently the Celtics are required to have one of the ten worst players in the NBA on the roster at all times.

Gravatar My shit list is longer still... IN addition to Allen, I would stick on Bynum, LaFrentz, Reed, West, Boredchart, actually prety much everybody but Ricky and Pierce (maybe Blount, he could have a come back) has been unspectacular at best.

Reasoning... This is the preseason. These fucking guys should be fighting for their starting spot. If they don't want it, they should be on the team period. Not everybody can start, but everybody should WANT to start. Second rate players make us a second rate team....

Gravatar By my estimation, RDFan, that's about 52 feet of shit. Holy shit, that't a lot of shit.

Gravatar Blahahaha, traded for cigs. "Go fuck him up," has an entirely different meaning in prison.

Are orange jumpsuits part of the new dress code?

Good point RickyD, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of urgency from these yahoos.

Gravatar wasn't Tony Allen part of the grand plan and charter mission of CelticsDoom? Good to see you guys really hit the jackpot with that one HAHAHAHAHA!!! And now you love Pierce again? Good thing Dickau's around to distract us all.

Gravatar haha, Willie, you bastard. Good point, but you forgot to mention our early support of Delonte West, the point guard of the future who can't get the ball over halfcourt. For the record, PO still hates Pierce, I'm just trying to be honest about what I see on the court. And in the court, if it concerns Tony Allen.

Gravatar Back to my arguement for non-gauranteed contracts. Scabs, is going to make 15 million over the next 5 years regardless of if he hustles or is doing the hustle at 2am with hookers. We've got to pay him. You take away the garuanteed money, you'll see some guys get back to their fighting weight and move that ball.

Scores will go up, talent will go up, competition will go up and it will be a lot more fun to watch.

Tony may be in a heap of shit, but if he makes it through it, hopefully he will be scared straight.

Gravatar Or hopefully his cellmate is straight.

Gravatar "what happens in prison, stays in prison"

I'm with you on the guarenteed contracts, RickyD. The best way to kill a guy's motivation to work is to say, "here's enough money so you never have to work again." But Ainge deserves a lot of the blame for Blount - he overpaid. Blount at his best isn't worth more than Scalabrine money. But that's the NBA I guess

Gravatar Yeah... there is a ton of over paid players out there. More than there should be. I am all for giving Allen Iverson the moon, he plays his ass off every night. Giving Webber $25 million a year is a little tough to swallow....

Gravatar Willie, TA was an outstanding citizen until he met Pierce!!!

Good call, but to be fair, 'doom' vision had more to do with the collective young talent than with each individual (but I was a big Allen fan, the Dr. wasn't as much). We were't going anywhere with Pierce, Walker et all, so blow it up and start with the youngins.

For the record, I also thought Dickau and Scal would work out, so why would anyone listen to me anyway??

Gravatar Hopefully Allen will be scared straight rather than scared stiff.

Gravatar I don't agree with the non-guaranteed. Didn't they cut back on the length maxiumum contracts this past year?

In football there is much more control over the offense and defense by the coaching staff and it is absolutely essential to the game. If basketball were to go non-guaranteed I think there would be MORE ball hogging and one on one play and not less. There might be less defense though but the style of play would absolutely become more selfish and like an AND ONE mixtape.

Gravatar I think Dickau and Scal will work out.

Gravatar aww Willie, you're just being disagreeable... which is what we like. I think Dickau will "work out" to the extent that he won't be a complete embarassment as a back-up, but I can't imagine he'll be our starting PG if we make the playoffs. As for Scalabrine, if all yr saying is that he'll eventually revert to his career averages of 3.9 ppg and 2.9 rbs on .393% shooting, then I'm with you. Beyond that, there ain't enough Kool-Aid in the world to make me hopeful.

Gravatar Frankly, I've seen about as much of Dickau on the floor as I can stand. I've never watched his game, is something wrong or is this as good as it gets? He seems slow and his defense is atrocious. The jury's still out with Scalaburine, although if this is what we're getting DA ordered Veal but got Chopped Liver.

Gravatar Blount now wants his name pronounced to rhyme with cunt. To be blunt, when can you count on cunt, Blount?

Gravatar I'm all over that tittyfuck, check out the new post.
