Al seemed to playing too far away from the basket last night, not sure what value he has handling the ball at the top of the key. Ricky Davis for Battie, EWill, and Kedrick looks like a steal, Pierce needs an alter ego. I didn't think Scalabrine could get any uglier, but the buzz cut just ain't doing it. All in all, a B+ performance for the C's.
Very nice write up... I didn't catch the game until the 4th, but I still would give Ricky the Player of the Game based on his amazing overtime performance. I wonder if it ever goes through guys heads that they scored 20 points in 5 minutes in overtime, and if they did that all game they would win every game with scores around 195. Just a thought...
Speaking of winning, I think we can still take out division. The Knicks also looked improved over last season, but our two scorers and glut of scrubs and kids should be able to take them out every night.

The rebounding, especially on the offensive end, is very refreshing. West just did everything, and seems so poised on the court. Blount still sucks. It’s REALLY sad when the best two rebounders on the starting unit are the 1 and 3.
Replace Scal in the second unit, and they will be fine. No flow whatsoever when that guy is on the court.

I am not in favor of sending Ricky to the bench. I am in favor of getting more guys on the team like him though. He is going to play 38 - 40 minutes every night, let him start. Dickau and Scabs are a big fucking waste of money though. Dickau didn't even play.
Our second unit won't be bad at scoring once they get their heads out of their asses. Besides keeping Ricky in the first unit lets us (hopefully) see GGreen get on the floor every once in a while. The only way he is going to get better is by playing.

For some reason, I find Scalabrine far more unlikeable than Dickau. This is the opposite of how I felt when they first got signed. Veal-urine is just so fucking annoying with that "hyped up clueless honkey" routine. At least Dickau just sits there looking quietly suicidal.

Ricky should come off the bench. Myassholestnxz is right about VealUrine playing his way out of the rotation - so maybe it wasn't entirely bad. Altogether though, the game stunk like a coffee enema.
