I didn't see Evil Pierce to be honest. He had two lapses in judgement trying to do too much because no one else decided to show up and he got pissed. He also did not get to the line in this game despite being played physically.
I did witness Mork Hunt ripping off his good guy disguise and showing us that he still sucks.

thanks Willie. I'm not saying the Evil Pierce thing was unjustified - it was just the first time this season (and preseason) I've seen him truly pissed off and forcing his offense. I can't blame him, everyone played like shit and we were down 20 points to the best team in the league. To me it'll be a problem if he's doing that against lesser teams in close games.
You know... I really thought we would have been able to win this fucking game. We came all way the back from waaaay down, and started really making progress. We hit a few shots, tied it up... There was fire in our bellies... It somehow sputtered out. The Spurs player well, but not that well. Not well enough for us to go from tied to down by 24. We let them do that. Maybe everybody was tired from ringing in Perks' 21st?
Sorry... One last question. We're down major points in the third/fourth quarter, we're supposedly developing talent, WHERE THE FUCK IS G. GREEN??????

Good point RDfan, I wondered the same thing when Doc had both dickau and west in at the same time. You know what you're going to get from both, and you (hopefully) will not use that combo together.

Great game tonight though. Once again I will reiterate my Atlantic division theory that the Nets and Knicks suck balls and will finish with Toronto at the bottom of the pile.
It will be the 76ers that run at us for the division title, with Dalembert back they are going to be even tougher. Whoever doesn't win the division sits out on the playoffs. Some of the competition is just too good this year.

Well, in the tub were me, Scalabrine, Liberace, and Rock Hudson, so I can't say for sure, except the bubble did have a red hair on it.
Coc still hasn't figured out his bench, the starters are playing too many minutes, and so is Scalaburine. Wish Greene would get Dickau's minutes. Also, how is Gerald Green progressing? When TA and Banks come back, who gets fucked? Now is the time to test these younger players to see who stays on the active roster.

I like Doc. I think he is a great coach. I hope Green stays on the roster because the DL is SHIT!!! He will never mature into a great player in the development league. He needs to be practicing in our system against NBA players everyday to turn into a star.

yeah, that's what PO and I think - lose now win later. I agree with myassholestnx, and I would rather see us lose playing the potentially good future players over playing .500 ball with this current mediocrity.
I think Scalabrine getting minutes over Gomes, Reed and Perk is criminally short-sighted. I think Dickau playing instead of Greene is stupid. In both cases, the problem was signing these guys to begin with.
Scalaburine getting minutes over Gomes and Perkins is shit. But you all are kidding that you'd want Jefferson and Green out on the floor for 30 plus minutes a night. It would be unwatchable.
Jefferson is a decent player, but he's way overrated by alot of Celtic fans, he's coming along fine as a role player and hopefully will grow into a starter. Throwing him out there to foul out in 15 minutes of action will do no good. Green MIGHT be good, but he might be a total bust. I agree that the NBDL is shit and nothing good will come of Green going there.
The rotation will work itself out over the next 15 to 20 games. You have to give guys a shot to prove themselves and win minutes or play themselves out of a job.
Agreed, Willie, and so far Gomes, Al, and Reed are playing far better than Sclaburine. Orien Greene won the backup point guard spot in the preseason, what's he done to be moved to the third slot? Maybe these moves will come in time, but they are inevitable.
All those in favor of more minutes for Dickau and Scalabrine stand up and eat a yard of my shit. Coc Shivers and his insistence on playing those two over Greene, Al, Gomes and Reed are killing us, much like the old playing time for Walter used to totally disrupt the team. Dickau couldn't guard a circus midget and Scalabrine is just a red headed asshole. What a joke.
