Gravatar We came close to giving Larry Brown an early Christmas present. I guess we'll take a win right now any way we can get it. Not seeing Blount in with the game on the line is the best present I could ever get.

Gravatar yeah BP, I think I hate Larry Brown more than Doc, which is saying something. Maybe we could trade Blount to them for Malik Rose who seems to be in the quasi-doghouse.

Pierce had 5 steals, I deleted that by accident.

Gravatar Yeah, fuck Larry Brown, and fuck Spike Lee. Was Mr. Do the right thing at the game? I can't think of a worse Christmas present than season tickets to the Knicks. I'd trade Blount for anybody on the Knicks right now.

Gravatar You're a talented writer... Good stuff. I still would have given the player of the game to Ricky, although he could be sitting out and still get it from me.

"good hands" is synonymous with Mark Blount around the league. I think everybody agrees. In fact, the majority fo the GM's that call always ask if Mark is available for his "good hands" and very active rebounding.

Gravatar thanks Ricky D. I was torn about whether Ricky or Paul deserved it, but I think the 7 assists (that sick pass to Jefferson, in particular) put PP over the top for me. Ricky has had the misfortune of being our best player in a bunch of losses.

We're in the Carnival of the NBA thing this month (week, whatever), and they primarily make note of us being anti-Pierce, which struck me as somewhat unfair. It's like saying Free Darko is a site all about Darko Milicic. To me it's more accurate to say we're the internet's leading resource for dick jokes made at the expense of the Boston Celtics coaching staff.

Gravatar Whoever thinks this is a Pierce bashing site must never read it. In fact, Pierce has received much praise for his improved attitude and play this year. Now, if they want to talk about Scalaburine, Morkunt, and Coc, they've got a point, but those individuals have received plenty of raspberries on celticsblog as well. The main difference between doom and blog is that there's more poetic license and less (actually no) censorship on this site, and we get to talk about taints and titties and size of cock rotation theories, and every poster on celticsdoom has a much bigger cock than the shortchanged individuals at celticsblog, and by and large we don't stick them up guys asses (it's the guy behind us ).

Gravatar hahaha... that joke is even more meaningful if Greg Dickerson happens to be standing behind you. Hey Tittyfuck, when you're at the bar be careful if someone offers to push in your stool.

Anyone think Garnett is really going to be traded this year? Ainge will get Hamcock of the Year if we finish the year with the same roster we have right now. If we could somehow land Garnett without giving up Pierce, I don't see how he couldn't make that trade.

Gravatar I don't think Garnett goes anywhere. For Minnesota it doesn't make sense. Trading him for any set of two or threee players that you possibly get won't make you better. Trading for LeBron and Z still wouldn't get you to the playoffs (not to mention the Cavs wouldn't do it).

Trading the Big Ticket for Ricky, Raef, Al and Tony Allen, won't get you shit either. We lose our real scoring threat behind Pierce to pick up another scoring threat. KG would make us better but not to the point where we are competing against Indy or Detroit. Minny gets better and younger, but not to the point where they can crack 7 in the West. It seems that both teams would be in a bid for mediocrity with that trade.

Trading Pierce for KG means neither player would show up for the other team, consequently not working.

Believe it or not, the Celtics aren't really that deep (at least not with talent). Trading three of our talented players away for 1 leaves us razor thin. We can't win a championship with that.

Gravatar I believe in addition by subtraction. I would entertain any trade that involved Blount. He is taking up valuable learning time for other players, and frankly, I'm just tired of enduring him. If he goes in a trade, it's a big plus for us. Plus, his asshole stinks worse than mine.

Gravatar I think I'd do a Jerome James for Blount swap at this point. They're both overpaid shitheads, but at least James gives you a tiny bit more toughness. James is like a million cheaper every year and they both are signed through '10.

Gravatar The contract overhead for Blount, Scabs, Raef and Dickau is as high as the Bobcats payroll (that isn't quite fact, but I bet they are close). The Bobcats beat us. So what the fuck are we paying for? We can lose just as good paying the Boston Latin team to come play for us.

Gravatar It is $18 million though, and all of them besides Dickau are signed through 08/09 (with Blount and Scalopissine signed through 09/10). For a team with an average payroll, we have a lot of bad contracts. By my estimation the Knicks (of course), the 76ers, the Rockets, maybe the Lakers and maybe the Nets are the only teams in the league in worse cap shape than us (ie - tied up financially with a team that will never win).

Gravatar The thought of the possibility of Blocunt and Scalabasshole being around until 2010 made me wretch. Can Danny take a 480 pound shit before then?

Gravatar now that you guys are famous you need to add some fancy graphics to this site. maybe you can photoshop a picture of a giant green shit wearing the number 30 coming out of ainge's ass.

Gravatar hahaha. And followed by one of Ainge wiping his ass with a dollar bill and saying, "It takes 48 million of these to get all the shit off."

Gravatar If anyone else just sat through that torture, I'm sorry for you. The recap'll be up tomorrow morning.

Gravatar Yeah... I did. What's left of my asophagus did too...

Gravatar Actually... Was this Al's breakout game? What the fuck is a breakout game anyway? He played well, 20 minutes, 12 points and 10 boards. He also looked like he knew what the fuck was going on around him, which is more than you can say for the rest the team tonight.

When we are losing by 15 in the last 5 minutes of the game, why can't we put in Gerald Green. Everybody sucked this kid off for the last five months, and I haven't seen him play one "big-boy" game yet. It is fucking ridiculous. If he is the next coming of Jordan, T-Mac or Prince Charles, can we at least see him step on the fucking court?

Gravatar This season was severely dampened with our off season free agent signings. Just once, can't we get a spectacular player?

Gravatar 8 total assists, from the entire team, we suck really bad
