Reaf told Doc to play Scal for hamcock purposes. Great wright up.
Spurs just coasted, damn their good. I remember the Parker draft, and I said "A fucking French point guard, no thanks."
Who would of thought? Apparently not 29 teams.

Yeah, but his coach t'ain't. Let's play Perk and Al all the minutes we can, if we're gonna lose at least make it serve a purpose. Who knows, with playing time, we might even be a pretty good team in a month or two. Dump Morkunt, keep Scalaburine's red haired ass on the pine, and when is TA and MB coming back? This has been one frustrating mother fucking season so far!

DR. C., P.O., Distinguished Commenters,
Artest is available. I see
someone already proposed a Allen - Blount - Banks deal for him.
I'm sure Indiana will be salivating over that. I'd go with Ricky,
Allen, and a First, but Peja for Artest seems more likely.

Ray, the best part about getting Artest would be the opportunity to fleece Isiah later down the road (he said he wanted to go to NY in an ideal situation). Artest still doesn't get us a point guard, but the idea of Doc "coaching" him is hugely funny.

Jefferson had a hell of game Saturday night. 21 and 12. That kid has some flashes of greatness but a world of inconsistency; that typically comes with 20 year old stars.
Maybe the future is going to be bright after all.

Glad that Hagrid is keeping us on top of things. Otherwise I'd have forgotton about the years from 1995 until 2003 when Pat Riley coached the Heat. According to Hagrid he hasn't coached a game in over a decade. HA HA!!!

so instead of adding on an amendment and admitting that he messed up he just edited out the comment. I hate when people do that.

shit, Willie, I think they fixed it. At least he didn't claim that Stan coached the Knicks from 95-01.
My money would say that a career assistant who was a .500 head coach without Shaq isn't exactly going to be the hottest commodity on the coaching market next year.
Anon - regretably, there will be no Dallas recap, largely because I am lazy and didn't feel like writing about two fait accomplis in a row. Also, we have a bad reputation as being infrequent posters to maintain.

Thirdly, don't make us all relive another failed road trip to Texas. Please, please, Danny, do something dramatic with a trade to shake things up in the next few days, and jettison some of the human excrement we currently have on our roster.

Nobody wants our shit! KG is not leaving Minny when they have an 11-6 record (or something like that). Nobody else wants our shit for anything we want. We would have to trade Jefferson, Davis or Pierce to get anything worthwhile. That puts us right back where we are.
We couldn't give Blount to the fucking ABA.

yup, I agree with both of you, we have human excrement and no one wants it. Even then, what are we going to trade for? Watson? Ehhh. We are in big-time horse latitudes right now.

It's incredible how a few bad decisions can handcuff an organization for years. Resigning Blount, bringing in Scalaburine and Dickau, passing on Baron Davis or Sam Cassell. Now to get rid of shit we've got to lose something good, players or draft picks. When will the Pitino curse be llifted?

Probably in 4 years or so. Pierce will walk after next year and then the Celtics will finally go to the lottery in 2007. Greene will develop into a valuable commodity and Jefferson or Perkins will be kept and one will be traded for something good. By then Rivers will be gone and hopefully there will be a good coach and Ainge will either be a genius for unloading all the shit he's accumulated or he will be fired and replaced with Dee Brown who becomes a top GM candidate do to his TV analyst role and his long storied career as a Celtic.

and Danny will replace Tommy after he's carted off to the looney bin, and provide the world with sullen commentary about an improving Celtics team he had no hand in putting together.
I'm with you Boilpopper, it's fucking incredible how this all came about.

Willie... That lottery thing might be a little closer than you think. As it stands right now we would miss the playoffs (which should be the case come May). I think we have somebody else's first round this year, I just can't remember which team... Lakers maybe? In which case we would have two picks from team that don't make the playoffs.

the Lakers lotto pick is protected. I think that one of their picks goes to Phoenix in the Walker trade.
