I'm not sure which sight would be worse: the mound of sloppy Cosbys that Doc dropped off at the "pool" before the game or the Celtic effort in the first half?
Well, either way, we know they both smelled like ass.
How is this turd still employed? Could Tony Brown do worse, really? I highly doubt it. And this is the same Tony Brown, you know, who used to get stumped by Willie Maye's inane questions.

When I saw that Scalaburine was starting, my titties drooped. The best thing that could happen to us from this point on is to lose enough games to get Coc fired and secure a top 5 draft choice, then look ahead to next year. And oh yeah, how about trying to play Al and Perk together sometime?

Paul Pierce is shooting 60.3% in clutch time (5 minutes left with neither team up more than 5) from the line.
He is a 79% career FT shooter.
Another 40 points, another choke, another loss.

At least Pierce played with heart. Al did last night, which is pretty much why he only got 17 minutes.
Marco Killingsworth would look mighty nice in green....
And what the fuck is Danny talking about with one more move? Are we trading for Timmy, Manu and Parker by giving the Spurs Allen, Scabs and Dickau??? That would be the only thing I can picture making us a contender.
Detroit, San An, Dal and even Miami all have five guys starting that are top in their position. We have one. That leaves us 4 down from my math.

I have no fucking idea what kind of move Danny thinks he can make that'll turn this team into a competitor. Ryan Gomes for Artest? Oriene Greene and our 2008 first rounder from Minni for LeBron James? Absurd.
Truly funny in all of this is the fact that while we have a glaring lack bench scoring, there is no real move afoot to bring up Gerald Green and see what he can do. I'm not that stupid to think an 18 year old will come in and turn our team around, but what the fuck, we're heading towards the lottery, we might as well toss him to the wolves and see what happens. What's the worst that happens, he sucks? We know what that looks like already. Instead Danny wants to pretend he can acquire a "legit" starting PG (who in my nightmares is Tyronne "in" Lue) for scraps and that'll somehow make everything rosy. At least it appears as if the idea of Delonte West as our starting PG of the future is withering away.

It just doesn't make any type of cents or sense. We don't have the players to move to get to be a contender. Although, I don't think Danny can say "Hey, we suck. We are going to suck for a long long time. So fucking deal with it" Although that would be a refreshing change.

agree with everything written. They might as well come out and admit they suck and have no plan, it would be a welcome change to the lies and pandering.
The statement by Ainge is just to keep people in the seats and pull the wool over their eyes so Wyc et al can buy some time with which to clean up the mess.
What I see is about the same thing as 1999 and 2004.

At least the Celtics are now an answer to a trivia question: What is the only NBA team to have started both Walter McCarty and Brian Scalabrine? Oh, do I wish Waltuh was still playing for us, so that Coc could play those two together on a nightly basis and give an either bigger fuck you to all the fans. Can we sink any lower as a franchise? Well, I guess I'll go on back and ball the old lady, think I'll follow Cocs' advice tonight and go "small".
