Gravatar Great write up. Who was that babe Jim Carey was with? She looked like she just went through a car wash without the car.

Gravatar Heinsohn was very good tonight. He actually was remarkably even handed in his comments (maybe he thought he was working for CBS circa 1985?). I flipped on the ESPN broadcast and Stephen A. was interviewing Regis.NO FUCKING THANKS.

Gravatar Stephen A. Smith referred to Ricky Davis as Ricky Price in the pregame talk. Why he is employed by ESPN is beyond me.

Gravatar Nice to see GG getting lots of minutes again after his 13/9 performance. Nice.

Good job for Gomes... We really do have a solid young core. Too bad he is never going to play again once Al and Perk come back. Enjoy it Gomes... Enjoy it while you can...

Gravatar Pray that he gets his minutes from Raef and Scal. I would not take him out of the starting lineup regardless of who comes back, he is the most fundamentally sound player on the Celtics. Give me Perk and Gomes starting with the Al/Raef combo coming off the bench and I’m happy. Which means that Al and Raef will start with Perk and Scal coming off the bench.

Gravatar I think most people would do that... Which means Doc will put Gomes at the very far end of the bench to stack up the DNPs while Scabs takes all the extra minutes from Perk and Jeff. Nice.

On the flip side, Ricky Davis is the 7th ranked shooting guard in the NBA according to sportsline.com. He is a few points shy of breaking the top 5. For a guy making $5 million a year that's not bad.

1. Kobe Bryant, LAL 94.71
2. Dwyane Wade, MIA 88.51
3. Ray Allen, SEA 82.82
4. Vince Carter, NJ 81.77
5. Michael Redd, MIL 81.76
6. Jason Richardson, GS 80.56
7. Ricky Davis, MIN 79.51
8. Joe Johnson, ATL 79.29
9. Richard Hamilton, DET 77.67
10. Cuttino Mobley, LAC 75.56

Pretty decent company. If he keeps improving his next pay-day is going to be sweet. Everybody around him is sporting a max contract.

Gravatar I think Gomes will continue to start and get 20-30 minutes, but it will be at the expense of (most likely) AJ. Perk seems to be in Doc's good graces and provides the size and rebounding, Scalaburine eagerly digests whatever misguided defensive schemes the coaching staff concocts, and LaFrentz is a Pierce buddy who stretches the defense with his shooting. Al, on the other hand, has struggled all year and routinely gets yelled at for failing to grasp whatever losing proposition most recently devised to serve as team defense. Also, the team is comfortable playing perimeter offense and just letting the big guys serve as glass cleaners, something Gomes excels at. At this point, with the team playing well, I don't see Coc comfortable with inserting Al and running plays for him. It's sad, because the easy solution is to bench Scalaburine, start Gomes and Raef and let the young dudes play together with everyone getting around the same minutes. taint going to happen with Coc, though.

Gravatar PS - Willie, Tittyfuck, you missed Stephen A interviewing Mitch Kupchak (who looked exactly like John Malkovich on downers) and providing sideline updates that amounted to little more than him insulting Greg Anthony for having asked any questions. He got all haughty and said he didn't understand what difference it made if Raef came back in the game or not (after he got hit in the face). Fucking idiot. Also his lips reaked of Mamba cock after his half-time fellatio/interview.

I didn't see Jim Carrey's trim, but I did notice what appeared to be the zombified remains of Dyan Cannon sitting in the crappy celeb seats next to some guy who looked like he might be the bass player from Weezer. Wasn't she in Saw II? hahaha.

Gravatar I do not know if anyone caught how they introduced Stephen A. Smith for his halftime interview as Kobe's "good buddy". What is the point of this? To show that they will not treat players the same for interviews based on how often they will visit a guy's talk show? Or maybe just to point out that Smith can stop screaming into the camera long enough to conduct an interview with a totally uninterested league superstar? Half-time interviews are not supposed to be tough on the player by any streatch, but avoiding opening pulling for one team would be a nice move by the ESPN commentator.

Gravatar Hey,

So, can someone tell me why Gomes was glued to the bench for the first 3/4 of the season? I mean, did he suck in practice, and Cock was shocked by how well he played in games? How could a fan like me possibly know if the guy can play in the NBA, if you never see him play, so you have to assume the coach sees him in practice and says, nah, kid can't play. Plunk him on the bench. The man mut be utterly clueless, how could he not see how good this kid is???

Speaking of bad talent evaluation, we were led to believe by Coc that Marcus Banks sucked. I bought into it, although I had my doubts because I've seen him make some great plays. So, we have Orien Green instead of MB playing backup all season, and lose a bunch of games. MB is now going great guns for Minny, he's already starting and putting up good numbers.

Having said that, I have to say it was worth giving up MB even if he turns into another Chauncy just to get the hideous cancer know as Mark Blount off the team. The simple absence of this Frankenstonian chain-saw massacre of a flunk-out has cleared the way for the likes of Gomes to play and get more rebounds in a game or two than Mark Cunt would have come up with in a stretch of several weeks.

Also, why does the great Coc insist on running the 5 starters till they have "bloody stumps" as football coaches like to say. Here is a great, great opportunity, with Perk and AJ, out to let GG test the waters, even get a look at Dwayne Jones. Give them some run, Doc! He reminds me of Bill Fitch who kept Reggie Lewis pining on the bench while a dead-legged and declining Chris Ford was playing 48 a game and being eaten alive by playoff opponents.

The main problem is having Scabber and OG suck the minutes from GG and Jones until they at least get a chance to show what they can do, with AJ and Perk out. It's enough to make me think dream about a titty-fuck at the local strip joint. Hmmm, that's an idea. At least there all the strippers get to dance.

CR

Gravatar Did someone say tittyfuck? I think SA Smith would tittyfuck the Kobester on national TV. When he told Kobe he definitely got fouled right before halftime, he qualified for the all time Lick Club.

Gravatar reggie lewis wasn't on the team with chris ford or bill fitch.

Tommy and Mike interviewed the Dot Town crooner after the game. Saw II.

Gravatar Is Tommy an idiot??? Blowing Orien Greene and saying Wade isn't all that at the end of the game. Yeah, I know... We all love the Celtics, that's why we are here but there are limits on how distant from reality you can get.

Gravatar Tommy picked the Heat over Detroit...

Did all the 24 second violations come with Scalaburine in the game?

Gravatar howdy all. I only saw the second half of the game, walking into my apartment just in time to catch an impossibly awkward halftime interview between Al Jefferson and Greg Dickerson. Brutal. Noticed Tommy shitting all over Wade (ie: "he doesn't have a complete game... without Shaq he's going to have to change how he plays" etc), which is one of the many reasons why the man is so difficult for me to contend with as a thinking human.

The whole Scalaburine being afraid to shoot at home thing is killing us. Yr right Willie, his presence on the court shrinks the clock and has people fearfully moving the ball at the top of the key with 3 seconds left. Wally's continued shooting struggles continue to cause worry as well.

The game in total, however, as inevitable as erosion.

Gravatar At least Pierce is making it known he has skill. I know I've said this before but his value can't get much higher. We've got to trade him this off season while the iron is hot. Unloading Raef or Szcghbrk would be sweet too and give the Celtics a ton of flexibility.

Gravatar I can't imagine they trade Pierce now. I would assume the plan is to hold onto him for another season, see where the team is, and then make the decision about moving him in a sign-n-trade over summer 07. Someone smarter than me referred to Pierce as "Wyc's Binky" and I wholeheartedly agree. Those guys don't have the balls to make a big move that would alienate anyone. The irony is, that by refusing to be bold, they've alienated the fanbase anyway.

Gravatar At this stage I would be all for keeping Pierce. Even signing him to a max deal/extension. However, in order to do it I would want to rid myself of sxczrscx and Raef. If not you look at committing 70% of your payroll to 3 guys when you have 7 or more needing to be resigned in the near future

Gravatar Gomes was glued to the bench because we had to lose/showcase Blount real bad.

Brian Scale-a-weenie is all about the intangibles.

That's why he you can't see what's he's doing on the court...which is nothing.

Gravatar After the trade, this team is actually enjoyable to watch.

Gravatar Playoff Fever. dig it!!!!!!

Gravatar dickbreath, teasing us with talk about the playoffs is about as cruel as when in the eighth grade I used to go into the bathroom and stick my hangnailed right index finger up my ass and then charge guys a quarter to smell what they thought was the scent of Mary Jane Bradleys 15 year old pussy.

Gravatar Wyc promises to send Antoine playoffs tickets eventually... "We'll make the playoffs someday, I promise!"

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gravatar Seriously think about what you are asking... Do you really want to make those playoffs? If we get in, it is as the 8th seed. We get SWEPT by the Pistons. Honestly, if you think the Celtics can beat the Pistons in a series, please identify yourself now... Because you're an idiot.

Gravatar We'll be able to throw a block party on Causeway Street if they make the playoffs!!

Gravatar I caught Wyc's playoff fever and now there are green boils on my anus and puss is coming out of my dick.

Gravatar Ohhhhhhhhhhh, anyway, sorry for the delay. I wrote a thing on Fri night's game, but my internet access is fucky from home. I'll post it along with some other stuff tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's patience. Hugely busy at work and PO/Jerky is on hiatus, so I'm holding down the fort.

Anyway, sorry again. And tittyfuck, I agree, the team is actually pretty fun to watch, lots of it is due, IMO, to Delonte and Gomes.
