If they trade GG I am going to burn my Bird jersey on the steps of the Fleetcenter. He is way too good to give up on. Real talent like his doesn't come around often. In shoot arounds this kid knocks 'em down from half court with consistency. He is getting better on D and has more post moves than anyone on the team. If he starts creating his own shot this kid is going to be all the offense we need for the future....
I would trade Pierce to surround GG with young talent. Don't give up on Al either. He's injured alot now, but he is still young. I would hang on to him for another year and really test him out. Fuck trade value we are going to have a cap like the knicks in two years anyway, so fuck it all!

Green is the sh*t!! I've been saying it all year... All I want is to see the kid get a real and fair chance...

If GG gets grudging praise from even Chestnutt PhD (and in a loss!) then you know he is really turning some heads.
the kid looks good....

hahahaha, I'm not THAT bad WPDK.
RickyDFan, much like with RickyD, you saw early and weren't afraid to say it. I'm not sure how good GG'll be, but goddammit, I don't want to learn from seeing him develop on another team.

I know... We've tried the 1/2 and your gone theme, and that didn't work out. A good arguement can be made that two of our former players are top ten guys right now, and what the hell Big Ben was to us, he might make that category too... But don't worry we have all those fond memories of Yogi Stewart.

I think Danny Mormon might want to trade GG for someone with a "less colorful" "character." Wasn't he trying to swap him for Robert Swift?

yeah, that was the rumor. That would be so fucked up. The only thing I'd move Green for would be Chris Bosh or Chris Paul, and that ain't going to happen.
I've asked this before, but does anyone have any ideas on who Ainge will try to trade for? I look at the entire NBA, look at our needs and our "assets," and I see almost no logical move to make. This presumes that Pierce stays, Wally is immovable, and there's no way to pry any legit difference-maker type of player. Taking all that into consideration, I am terrified that all I see is Baron Davis.

Davis wouldn't be all that bad if he could play for more than two games. Especially if it takes Raef's contract (or Wally's).
Maybe the Knicks will trade Francis or Marbury here for Wally? We have more wings than we can handle, Wally isn't an upgrade over Pierce so move him for a point guard?
Fuck it... Fire them all and only play the guys under 25 all season. It might not be pretty, but could it really be worse? What - 5th worst record?

Baron Davis blows. Wally could be the only asset they could move or Raef and Gerald Green or Raef/Jefferson/Delonte (or Allen).
What do other people see as their needs. Don't say 'everything'.

Last nights game sucked... That was not fun to watch. Not even 60 points total scored in the first half... I thought had to be a record or low or something? Terrible...

The Celts need a legitimate rebounding/defending center and a power forward who can play with his back to the basket. If they can get such a power forward, then Perk might be good enough at center. Now, lemme think. who might Danny be after? Kirilenko? Radmaninoff? Van Horn? Harpring? Doleac? Mike Miller? Jeff Foster? Pollard? Mihm? Bonner?

It has happened!! Just like I (and many others) was surmising at the open shots of the season that the entire central division could make the playoffs... They have!! From the Pistons all the way down to the Bulls. It's pretty amazing if you think about that...
It's also pretty amazing that Houston has only 1 division win all season... Even the knicks are better than that.

The yahoo box score has "point guard" Tony Allen listed as having 5 turnovers. I wonder which quarter they are referring to. Dwayne Jones had 13 rebounds in his first game with any significant minutes. Raef has not had 13 rebounds in a game all season.

Tony Allen also couldn't hit a free throw to save his life last night. Shaq is better from the line than TA.
