geeze, maybe they will have to learn to be less militarily aggressive. Maybe they are ready to join the vast majority of nations who don't pick fights quite so easily. Pre-emptive war and invading third world countries is a bit over the top anyway. Totally unnecessary if not out and out stupid.
Steve, I know I didn't make the point, but that was generally what the post was about... reaping what one sows. The truth is, Britain now has so much of its peacetime armed forces deployed that it can no longer respond to a real emergency. You're point is precise and accurate.

Of course, the US did the same thing to itself when the National Guard, I believe it was, from Louisiana and Missippi was in Iraq when they could have been at home helping people when Katrina hit.
Surely there is a lesson here for Canadians. If all our troops are engaged in Afghanistan, Toronto will be defenceless when the next big snowstorm hits. Damn Conservatives have no sense of priority.
