I can't recall any election where so many candidates turned out to be flakes. I'm kind of missing the likes of Jag Baduria.
Let's see, NDP'ers stripping naked in front of young teenagers (woody included) or dropping acid on YouTube, anti-semitic Greeners, whacko Liberals as shown here. Kind of makes Ritz look sane in comparison.

You're doing the same thing. May addressed a peace rally at which some members/supporters of Hezbollah happened to be present. You will recall that this was when Israel was busy bombing Lebanon into the Stone Age and killing hundreds of civilians because two soldiers of theirs had been kidnapped.
If I had been in the vicinity at the time, I would have been at the rally too. Does that make me some kind of Islamist/terrorist?
Incidentally, the Cons have their own problems at this point. But since anti-Semitism is the only bigotry that Cons reject, this probably won't worry the party faithful that much.
Further on Ms. Hughes I have spoken with her campaign manager who is "trying to confirm" that Ms. Hughes wrote the article.

As for Ms. May, the content of her speech was rather less than peace mongering. It was hardly an even handed appeal to the Hezzies to firing rockets from civilian areas to civilian areas; rather it was a pro-Hezbollah event flying a patently false flag.

The Israelis strafe buses full of kids and ambulances full of wounded, kill hundreds of civilians, make a third of Lebanon homeless, and set the country back twenty years in terms of infrastructure.
Yes, by all means, let's be "evenhanded." As we denounce moral equivalency and all that good stuff.

I'm starting to think that Cherniak might be an NDP mole in the Liberal Party. I mean first he wields over the top attacks on Cheri DiNovo during the Parkdale High Park provincial by-election which provoked such revulsion at Liberal tactics that it helped get her elected. Cherniak probably did more to elect DiNovo than 100 NDP canvassers. Now he focusses like a laser beam on 911 troothers using such tenuous smears against NDP candidates that he motivates you to uncover a bona fide antisemitic troother among the Liberals. If it hadn't been for Cherniak's ill thought out smear we never would have heard of Leslie Hughes.
What will he do next to help defeat Liberals and elect NDPers?
