I used the word here in ironic reference to Jonah Goldberg's book.
I usually capitalize the word, and use it to describe (for example) Mussolini's corporate state and its legatees, or state excesses that were present in the Third Reich.
I think if you check over my blog you'll see that I use terms like this correctly. Unlike, for example, the screech-warriors, who think it applies to human rights commissions.

DR had the full truth about Arpaio explained to her at her place, in any case, and she has dug in.
She is a reactionary who supported John Howard's racist occupation of the Australian Northern Territory, and she is strongly in favour of the death penalty.
I've never seen that study before, but I find it very hard to believe that she was #5. I'd never heard of her till we met in person last summer.
As for the "Liberal" connection, that would be like saying the entire NDP should be responsible for the writings of any one member.
Oh yea.. facism? Facism is a form of state governance. Not a judgement of how a person would punish those in jail.

Including what can be seen as fascism...but isn't necessarily intended to be... and I don't think it's fair to compare her to that...
