A very thoughtful post on a tragic situation. I'm also worried sick about our soldiers there. The casualties of this so-called war is going to end up being 100% because not one of them will be able to come back from something like that, having been indoctrinated into the dehumanization of "other" and living in a perennial state of "survival mode", even the survivors will be scarred for life. It's just heartbreaking.
