The terrorists are already in our country. I agree that we need to secure our ports, borders, and so on. But there are many, many places where they could strike and fill us with fear. We can't protect all of these places all of the time. We realize that. What baffles me is why the terrorists have not hit some of these places already. I don't think it is because of our intelligence. Either they are waiting to do something more spectacular than 9/11. Or they are afraid of what we would do in retaliation if they did hit some of these places.
