In the recent hearings in Representative Andrews' sub-committee on employment discrimination against transgender persons in the workplace, Congressman Frank gave what I thought to have been very moving remarks why the trans community must be included in ENDA. My impression was that someone had had a very long talk with him between last autumn and the day of the hearing. I would say that he now gets it, and he understands our issues. Those of us who went to NCTE Lobby Day last year now have contact persons on the Hill, and - we will be back next year. And, I hope, we will have a president who will sign it.
