Jillian, this post is amazing. What an incredible amount of work this must have taken. As I note in my blog post (tomorrow), I didn't attempt to do an actual review of blawg posts. I simply don't read blogs any more (no time!) and I got no links from anyone. So, I just wrote about our local commemmoration.
Thank you for doing this, so at least those who actually *do* follow blogs will have something they can sink their teeth into!

Fascinating to me to see how now one can write a full-fledged Blawg Review by choosing as a theme a single topical legal area.
When I first hosted Blawg Review several years ago, the challenge was thematically pulling together posts from diverse legal areas, which was necessitated because the legal blogosphere was much smaller.
As your post here well demonstrates, we now have incredible content richness within various legal practice areas, allowing a Blawg Review theme to have a more topical focus.
Congratulations on a thought-provoking and educational Blawg Review, Jillian. Thanks for highlighting the important issues of civil rights and discrimination and reminding us of legal and social history.
