Talk to Me

Gravatar It's virtually impossible to find any politico in Washington not deeply tainted by lobbying influence or shades of 'acceptable'corruption. Daschle was one of the worse, accepting a $100,000 car and drive and then opps, forgot to declare it. I say good riddance, good by---a narrow call. It is becoming clearer why men of integrity like Howard Dean want no part of Rohm Emmanuel's shark snark team of rivals.

Gravatar Mandt,
I agree with you on both points: hard to find a politician without dirty hands (hell, I live in Louisiana, where political corruption is its own art form!) and good riddance to someone with less than the country's best interest.

I'm just wondering how many more of these "oops" incidences are we going to see. We're barely getting started and more and more of this is showing up.

Interesting that you mentioned Howard Dean. Since he just left the DNC, I wonder if he's in line for a Cabinet appointment. Frankly I'm expecting Dick Gephardt to show up any time now.

Thanks for visiting. Please come back and bring friends!
