There is much more to this. Much more. Let me drop a few hints for those who can not see the big picture here.
+You are correct in pointing out that geography is key. All the bluster before the summit was little more then public "haggling" by Putin. Putin had a price and this was it.
Now ask yourself the following questions.
Who are the members of the G8? (Answer: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States.)
Who are the permanent members of the UN Security Council? (Answer: China, France, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States.)
Who are the members of NATO? (Answer: Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.)
++Remember a little meeting that was held in Baghdad a couple of weeks ago with the Iranians? The one where the MSM pundits were puzzled as to why we were even bothering because we (in their opinion) have no "leverage" over Iran? In their opinion was more of a domestic political ploy then anything that might be substantial. They are clueless, as usual.
+++Remember VP Cheney taking a little whirlwind overseas tour a couple weeks before the Baghdad talks? Where did he go and who did he visit?
++++What showed up unannounced about 5 days before those talks in Baghdad took place, which coincidentally was the exact date of the expiration of a UN time limit for something (if I say more it will make this a bit too easy). The MSM doesn't pay attention to this kind of stuff especially when there are more important things to report like the 24/7 Paris Hilton coverage. Information such as this is not hard to find out if one does a little bit of digging.
+++++Remember the report from earlier this week about all those troops on the Iraqi border? Things there are not as the MSM thinks they are.
Those who can 2=2 together will begin to see what is happening and what might happen. Ennis | Email | Homepage | 06.08.07 - 6:26 pm | #
