Doc, look at the latest from David Boren:

“... We believe that we should not judge others or jump to conclusions about others on the basis of color, race, gender, economic status or freely exercised religious beliefs,” the statement read. “To rush to judge others or make assumptions about them on that basis is nothing short of prejudice. It has no place in America and it certainly has no place at the University of Oklahoma.”

Excellent, excellent post.

In fact, you show how 'Les Belles Indifferences' are no more than fodder for the Agendistas. I have said elsewhere, that in fact, the vast majority of Americans have learned to get along. We don't care how our neighbors vote, as long as they keep an eye on the kids playing outside.

We don't care what church they go to or even if they do go to church. We want to know we can count on our neighbors to keep us in the gossip and 'what's on sale where' loop and 'be here at 6 for the BBQ.'

We don't care if our neighbors are Jewish or Hindu or Muslim- Can we have some more of that yummy holiday food, please?

We have learned to get along. That scares the Agendistas more than anything else. It is the Agendistas- and the media- that need to ferment 'Les belles Indifferences.'

We don't need them- they need us- and they will never own us, because in the end, the American experience and value system is about compromise and cooperation- not revolution, dominance and the imposition of a set of values.

Baron - Boron seems to think the most important issue here is the threat to his multicultural mindset. How typical of those who don't want to face the threats to this country.

Doc -- no kidding. And I think the worst is yet to come. When the real terrorist acts start happening, news about them will be slowed and inhibited by PC/multi-culti fastidiousness in the media and government. Just like with the Beltway sniper. And so, more people may die.

It's very simple: announced threats are dismissed as Wag the Dog manipulation. If real bombs explode, it's blamed on Bush's Mideast policies, or, even better, a CIA/Mossad conspiracy. Thus liberals always feel they have control over terrorism

Naomi Wolf on Fox News has just repeatedly stated that Bush is playing politics with announcing terror threats. You know, I am really getting fed up with the continuous sick political games of the Left. Katrina was their moment of glory and now they intend to use every single local problem against the Administration. What's most horrifying to me is that THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT LIVES -- all they seem to care about is their agenda.

Camille Paglia long ago dismissed Naomi Wolf as a twit (& as a Rhodes scholar who couldn't construct a coherent sentence). Remember, Wolf was a Gore campaign 'advisor'. Nuff said

There was pretty good coverage of the NY subway bomb threat's on Fox news, today. Of all the T.V. news station's, Fox is the best. I still check blog's, of course, because even Fox will be late covering some stories in detail,
and they do make mistake's, occasionally. I don't think that Fox has an anti-American/anti-Bush agenda, like CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBC, among other's.
Fox does a reasonably good job in living up to their motto: "fair and balanced" and "we report, you decide".
Some of their anchor's and news analyst's are admittably Republican, while a few are admittably Liberal.
Bill O'Reilly is admittably Independent, and I think he has proven that.
It's refreshing to see journalist's who are honest about their ideology.
In light of that, Ibelieve the present the new's much more objectively than their competition, and they alway's present opposing view's on each issue.
Fox news, and the many exellent Blogger's and radio commentator's, infuriate's the left-stream media. They are rapidly losing their power of influence, with a steady decline in viewer's, and their glaring "mistakes" are constantly being pointed out.
The LSM is so delusional, that they cannot comprehend the problem. They are like Kerry, Dean, and many other leader's in the Democratic party since the last election, who desperately hold on to the same agenda. They believe their message wasn't understood by voter's, or that they just weren't speaking loud enough and that spreading their values (I know, I know, lol...but they believe they have values) will win them election's next time.
The LSM and Democratic party will continue to find new way's to spread their propaganda, bu no matter how pretty the package might be, it's still the same old crap.

> If real bombs explode, it's blamed on Bush's Mideast policies, or, even better, a CIA/Mossad conspiracy.

Not only on his mideast policy, but also, clearly, on the incompetence and ineffectiveness of our "selected commander in chief"... LOL.

Three years (and counting!) without a successful attack.

Never in context.

P.S. I haven't read enough, yet, so this is idle speculation, but what are the chances this bomb was planted on the "suicide" bomber and not used by him voluntarily at all? That would explain the failure for it to be used to kill more than him despite the clear intent for it to do more.

Please. There hasn't been an attack since 9/11 because THERE ARE NO TERRORISTS

Yep, and tourists just happened to spontaneously explode from joy in Bali, and heads disassociated themselves from bodies without any assistance in Iraq.
