So, Doctor, what do you call it when an individual's wishful thinking is so strong and they have such an overpowering need to prove themselves right that they will do damage to their own "families" (their country, in this case) to prove the point. Are Dean and Kerry oblivious to the damage they are doing to this country, not to mention to the Iraquis? And, if so, what does that make them. Sociopaths? I need to know - I have family members in the Dean/Kerry stream for whom I am way seriously concerned. |

I'd like to know the answer to Danny's question, too. |

I think the Big D bash ended when Hateamerica crashed The Party. |

In the real world it is called "psychopathology." In the Leftist world, it appears to be the norm. |
|
Susan, I believe that was in 1968 with McGovern. That is when I began to leave the party. Reagan cinched it for me. Regarding "psychopathology", Doc, it makes me think about the commentator in the late-1930s who proclaimed, "the entire world is going mad". I don't think these Leftists realize that Bush is trying to head off another world war. The Leftists seem enabling it to happen. |

I think that there is a complementary factor with Kerry and Murtha as Vietnam vets. They seem to be describing then, rather than now. I have a friend from high school who did three tours in Vietnam and in his first posting after the war was horrified to find a 'broken' drugged out army in Germany. He worked had there and in the rest of his career to fix that army and made significant contributions to its reinvention of itself. That is the army that is fighting in Iraq right now, not the one Kerry and Murtha know - as they are being told in no uncertain terms by serving military. As for Dean, as we all know he is given to enthusiasms. |

Joke Kerry ad on the radio during the 2004 elections: |
|
Keep an eye on Rep. Sam Johnson, a Viet Nam vet of distinction, whose remarks in the House were lost amid the adulation given to Rep. John Murtha. Johnson even differs from fellow POW, Sen. John McCain on the issue of torture. Johnson himself was such a sufferer, yet he has more realistic views on how to treat and enemy and how to win a war than either McCain or Murtha. |

I don't know why my trackbacks are not working but I linked! |

I'll say this nicer than the last time so my comments won't get booted off. |

They're not thriving. They're going down in flames and they don't even feel the burn, they are so self-absorbed. Thanks mostly to the Internet, people are seeing the light and seeing the Democratic party for not only what is it but what it has been since the 1960s - a Socialist and intrinsically anti-American movement. |

I sure hope you're right, Laura. |

Kerry, Murtha, Dean and Palosi and company are malicious cowards, devoid of honor! |
