To me, the key phrase is "knowingly and willingly"...I worked in DoD for some 40 years, and had that been ME, I would be lounging in Atlanta or Leavenworth now.

Which came first? The chicken? The egg? Or the squawker?
The Pullet Surprise goes to the journalist determined to slur the Bush Administration or the Republicans according to this op-ed .
To mix the metaphor: What a nest of vipers! Do those "ink stained wretches" afflicted with BDS ever examine the consequences of their ego-stroke?
We have Foghorn Leghorns in the Senate and among disgruntled general retirees. We have weasels scurrying in the bureaucratic warrens of State, the CIA, and the Pentagon. We have perpetual candidates outfoxing each other for media face-time.
Would that these lowlifes emulate our national bird, the eagle, to rise above pettiness and to be ever vigilant of our nation instead. onlineanalyst | Email | Homepage | 04.21.06 - 8:10 pm | #

Leavenworth would be a great place for this little treasonous slime to begin his new career.

{Washington] Post Executive Editor Leonard Downie Jr. said people who provide citizens the information they need to hold their government accountable should not "come to harm for that."
"The reporting that Dana did was very important accountability reporting about how the CIA and the rest of the U.S. government have been conducting the war on terror," Downie said. "Whether or not the actions of the CIA or other agencies have interfered with anyone's civil liberties is important information for Americans to know and is an important part of our jobs." anon | Email | Homepage | 04.22.06 - 7:38 am | #

I an not vindictive, but if this CIA agent Ms. McCarX has indeed leaked the location of secret CIA outposts then she should be punished to the full extent of the law. Ledger | Email | Homepage | 04.22.06 - 8:25 am | #

I sincerely hope that this investigation of this particular leak is only the beginning of many more investiagtions. I also wonder if part of the problem of dealing with these leaks on national security issues is the failure to declare that the U.S. is at war. With a declaration that we are at war, would convictions for treason be more easily available to prosecutors? A few death sentences for treason might bring a whole new sense of responsibility and reality to these scum. mifouf | Email | Homepage | 04.22.06 - 10:11 am | #
