"2. Thank for the invite, but no thanks. Now go away. Oh, now I understand--it wasn't exactly an invitation, was it? Did they let us down by not dying? Maybe they were just "stayin' alive""

One thing that completely baffles me about this whole Centenni and Wiig incident is the importance conservative bloggers attach to their "conversion" to Islam. If I were in their shoes, would I throw my life away to avoid babbling their nonsense words? I'm not sure I would. What do people think is so magically damning about them mock converting to extricate themselves?

To put it more pointedly, what makes people think we owe our enemies a truthful heartfelt response when they have a gun to our face? What makes them put such power in their hands that words said under duress are taken as being binding?

Lie to them now, live to bomb the crap out of them later. That's my take on the whole thing.

"It is time for the unbelievers to discard these incoherent and illogical beliefs," he said. "Isn't it the time for the Christians, Jews, Buddhists and atheists to cast off the cloak of the spiritual darkness which enshrouds them and emerge into the light of Islam?"

BWAAAAhahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!
Yeah, "cast off the cloak" and put on the straightjacket of Islam. LOL.

Mind you, don't EVER DARE take off the straightjacket -- if you DARE do that you may be killed instantly by those wearing the jackets, you know.

I believe Bugs had it precisely right -- "What a maroon".
