Re the MTA decision about allowing the cross-dressing man to use the women's rooms: They leave several things out of that article.
1. The man has had NO sex-change surgery; he just likes to wear women's clothes.
2. Any Peeping Tom could follow (ahem) suit, and spy on and molest women and girls at will, as long as he's wearing a dress.
3. The rights and privacy of the women and girls of NYC were just thrown into the crapper by this idiotic court ruling.
4. As I'm sure you know, many men who like to dress as women are actually straight: just kinky in the clothing department. So the young moron in the article who said airily that it didn't bother her is simply ignorant.

So it's not even a "transsexual rights" case. It's PC nonsense at its most arrant. And at the expense of women and girls, just over half the population, to benefit how many guys? 40? 50?
