The video is why the last three UN Secretaries-General have chastised the the Human Rights Commission.

Even Kofi Annan was embarrassed- and that takes some doing.

Interesting reply: If you do not sing us praises, we will silence you.

The UN is basically a huge dung heap and I wish we could load them up onto a garbage barge and send them into the middle of the ocean.

Where does one go who is a passive aggressive, a lover of language, and a coward? Seems to me a job at the United Nations just might be the perfect place!

Watch as these idiots dazzle each other with their choice of words, twisting thoughts around a narcissism few can easily see!

Turn the channel. Sickening!

Let's see, what you say has no value, because of the way you say it. Oh, we're soooo offended.

Can't you see we're trying to shove any and all truth down the memory hole.

This is not the future, this is the enslavement of humanity today.
Buy more bullits.

And these are the same despots acting as the worlds authority on man made global warming, excuse me climate change?

These criminals and all their supporters, have no idea of the righteous fury that cannot be contained much longer for their lies and deception.

Sad.

I'm not f***ing surprised in any way, shape, or form, but, yeah, it's sad.

:-/

.

And if the Arab states weren't dangling oil in front of everyone on the "Human Rights Council" they wouldn't even care about Israel----and then they'd have nothing to do.

Talk about institutional arrogance!

If this punitive "council" is so easily "offended" by testimony, how can it effectively stand its ground against a shrewd critique by a defendant's attorney?

Answer: it can't. And neither can the UN's IAEA, nor the Security Council, nor can its environmental enforcement-offices really police the UN's pie-in-the-sky "carbon-goals."

Let's put an end to this farce: Form the UN "Caucus of Democracies Now!"

Perverted sense to "decree honors" on the current members in the name of the noble founders of this counsil.

In any organization with a shread of responsibility, "What have you done for me lately?" should be asked frequently and openly.

This is yet another organization (at least msm is catching on) that does not realize the power of internet (open and free data/knowledge communication). Just because it deemed "inadmissible" does not erase all from the record.

Did the UN ever really work or has it always been a pipe dream gone wrong. Sadly I think that the answer is obvious.

Jack: Did the UN ever really work or has it always been a pipe dream gone wrong.

It was wrong in principle (collectivist to the core) and wrong in implementation (the US was to pay the bills while the UN was not to be held accountable for anything). It could do nothing but degenerate into a den of thugs squabbling over whatever they could steal. Now it has sank so low even ordinary thugs are embarrassed to be associated with them in their chosen profession.

The UN should be excised from our land and dumped into the deepest ocean. I should be treated as the lethal infection that it is.

I blogged about this almost five years ago:

Is This Any Way to Run Anything?

Imagine you live in a community that has... unusual... rules for selecting the mayor, the police chief, and the officers of the town council. The rules can be summed up this way: any head of a household is eligible, and all of them take turns holding the different positions.

Now, each community is like every community in at least one respect: the population runs the gamut from saint to sinner, from angel to devil.

The system limned above could result in, occasionally, a convicted wife-batterer being the mayor; the town drunk, the police chief; a known pedophile, the president of the town council; a man thrice-bankrupted, the council's treasurer; and, a functionally-literate woman, the council's secretary.

How long would such a community last? For that matter, how long ought such a community be allowed to last?

And how, exactly, is the UN any different?

I've become convinced that national politicians tend to create, and then genuflect to, "umbrella" super-structures in order to avoid accountability for their own incompetency while in charge of local conditions.

Generally, if a politician can't fill the pot-holes ion Main Street then he's likely to line up behind whatever transnational or Federal scheme promises to do his job for him.

This explains why Jacques Chirac blew so much air into the EU (lest he be forced to explain France's economic stagnation under his watch); why a "swift-boated" Winter Soldier named John Kerry proposed a "Global Test" for America's foreign policy; and why unsubstantial politicians (Nancy Pelosi, et al) create and then queue-behind the UN's IPCC and its protectorate, "Anthropogenic" Global Warming.

The interesting question: is there anything we can do to fix the situation short of a violent revolution?

Voting hasn't worked.

Writing letters to the editor hasn't worked.

Bitching on the Internet hasn't worked.

The MSM and our politicians are in on the scam so they only make the situation worse.

Living in a hole in the ground won't work either.

Am I simply in too much of a hurry to get my individual rights back and have them protected on principle? After all, I am over 70 and might have only one or two decades to go. Maybe I should take the long view and be happy if it happens ten thousand years or so after I am dead. Somehow that thought doesn't comfort me all that much.

If I'm not mistaken, when the UN was created, there was a lot of sympathy for the totalitarian Soviet Union (particularly in the federal government). I'm pretty sure the idea was to prevent any wars in the future, on the assumption that all wars were all bad and that the one who fires first is evil. It probably wouldn't have existed at all if Stalin didn't think he could use it to his advantage to consolidate and expand his rule.

See how Al'lah prepares the way for the Triumph of His Faithful, the Caliphate?

I've had that video on my myspace account for awhile now - it's a favorite of some of my former physics students.

Are you aware of the fact that, Dec. 24, '07, the General Assembly voted to outlaw criticism of Islam? Are you going to do anything about it? Here is my original post on the subject:
http://snooper.wordpress.com/200...icism-of-islam/ .
Here is my post announcing an online petition demanding withdrawal from the U.N. and expulsion of that collection of creeps from our soil:
http://snooper.wordpress.com/200...31/quit-the-un/ .

At present, the petition has 20 signatures; you can get in on the ground floor.

For freedom's sake, sign the petition, copy the blog post about it and insert it into an email; send it to everyone in your address book and ask them to pass it on.

Sitting here silently steaming won't accomplish anything.

We thank you for your comments, even if they are inflammitory, racist, insane, or insulting towards other delegates.
However, if you address the council in such terms we will be quick to shove a cork down your neck and disregard your statements.
We believe that if we facilitate the Jihadist that they will be merciful and allow us to live in a slave caste in the coming Islamic Empire.

We suggest that you too surrender your common sense and bow down to your future masters.

I have only one thing to say to those pencil necked, camel riding idiots at the U.N. "SCREW you and the camels you rode in on"

Jeepers, I used to think it was only right-wing nuts who said, "Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US." Now, I wonder.

The time is rapidly approaching when a few good men are going to have to take a flame-thrower to the place.

Let us pray that those men will be members of the US Armed Forces, uniformed.

!

There is one sign of hope for the UN.

The truth still hurts.

I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
