If this is the standard you uphold then there are exactly 2 "morally righteous" organisations :
-> the army (actually in most states, even "evil" states the army is a force for good, at least relatively speaking versus the politicians)
-> the church (and more specifically : missionaries)
They are the only organisations that put their own asses on the line.
Sometimes one needs to ponder why that candy being offered finds so many who wish for it. Seduction exists.
What I want to know is why those who oppose the "positions" of the democrats don't have the energies to present what they believe is the counter side?
If we can sit here and type out all kinds of answers and insights, and we are just simple people who like to read, think and present, why do those people who are supposed to be the leaders not counter all this energy that the democrats have been putting out there amongst our fellow citizens?
Common sense belongs where? Only at the ballot box? What realities exist behind all these wonderful words, cute phrases, smoky ideas that seem to be proffered by these great American candidates?
Or does it really matter? Are we just waiting for the "right kind" of attack so that "all the American muscle" we possess will be used? I wonder if this is not the case, and has been the case when survival is at stake.
Obama now tries to tell all of us, even beyond the "sweetie" level that he really does have a "set of balls!"
Now he intends to communicate to us how and where he will show his balls...yea right Mr. Lawyer! I'm shaking in my knees as a result of your words.
Notice how Sen. Jim Webb, who has shown his balls, how he is coming to the fore?

Stop and think how much our lives have changed since those bastards ran three planes into our world, killing thousands, destroying millions. How much freedom have we lost since then?
How much more are we willing to lose? Ask these candidates, see what they say.

Funny Siggy should mention the Breasts not Bombs group [silly name in the first place]. The videos of their protest which were shown on the 'Net a few months ago were truly dreadful -- enough to drive otherwise eager young men into monasteries. Why do people do such things, other than an urge to display themselves? Those ugly breasts wouldn't persuade me to do anything, other than deny them entrance into the house. This isn't effective argument. It isn't real discourse at all. It's sick narcisissists saying "look at me look at me. I'm OK, aren't I?"

Tom: I don't think a moral organization has to be about putting your ass on the line. It can be much more humble and local. In fact, it is the bottom-up groups, whether formal like Scouts and Lions Clubs or ad hoc like an initiative to upgrade the town library, that convey they values needed when someone does have to put his ass on the line. The reason our troops are now having success in Iraq is because they absorbed basic and lasting values throughout their lives from people who didn't need to bare their breasts. Unfortunately, the limelight is too oftern turned on the latter, while the people who make our society good are dismissed as clingers and rubes.
