After 9/11 there was a big show done to honor those who died in the twin towers. One of those "honored" guests was the former boxing champion Ali, who as his head bobbled, mumbled that "Islam is a religion of peace!" He is supposed to be (or was) the most recognized face on this planet.

Yea, what we all need is a religion that demands its followers to get down on the floor, face a certain way while prostrating, listen to some "prayers" at least four to five times every day.

No desire to control here right? And I love those smiling faces of their religious leaders beginning with that wonderful man of peace the Ayatollah Kolhmeni (I don't really care to know how to spell his name correctly)I saw years ago as he sat in that small room somewhere in France before the revolution within Iran.

I know who wants to kill me and my family. Seduction exists for a reason. Fairy dust is just that too!

The politics of correctness is designed to achieve what? Diversity or winning/control?

I would add that the upper class Arab males in foreign universities are being confronted with self-assured females in their classes who do not show the required deference. Furthermore, these females may be a lot hotter than the covered cousins the guys are destined to marry when they return home.

You finally hit one of the really large realizations you get when studying muslims :

THEY DO NOT BELIEVE (not in Allah, not in God, not in anything)

Their religion is a virus that exploits hate and uses it to create more hate, and uses it to make muslims hurt eachother, further making rational analysis impossible.

But if you ask a muslim "won't allah just kill the infidels and be done with it", none will claim that allah would even consider it. VERY few will even dare to claim allah would help muslims.

If you show them pieces of the quran, or even speeches from their own imam, they will not change their behavior.

islam is what nazism was in 1930 : it's just a tool for being superior, it's just a tool to hate and be "good".

It's a tool to justify the mass murder that people already wanted to commit before turning into muslims. It's a tool to use hate to deactivate rational thinking and make people react entirely on their feelings, resulting in what we see every day on the news.

Your understanding of sociology is important. What you're describing is attitude and treatment that We Jews have experienced from Christianity for centuries. What 'good' person wants to have a birthright into a faith that wasn't 'chosen' by G-d in the Old Testament? Especially when the 'chosen' faith contradicts your inherited faith, and is smaller, weaker and easier to defame, shame, and eliminate? Hopefully, modern Christians who read your explanation will expunge their 'ressentiment'(Fr) from hyper-judgmentalism of Jews and the Jewish State, Israel.

Dr. Sanity: I enjoy your blog a lot but I can't help thinking that by avoiding discussing any pathologies of the Right, you must not think they exist and/or you are in your own kind of denial about it.

This could be said of the Bush administation just as you have applied it to Islamonutcases:

I repeatedly say that these same kind of defense mechanisms are universal. Certainly they are present on the right side of the political spectrum. Back in the 50's and 60's the right was the repository of a variety of paranoid theories and such and dominated the political psychopathology landscape. Today it is the political left and quite frankly, their dysfunction and self-delusion is having a far more pronounced negative impact on civilization than could have been imagined....

Please don't make the generalizations you so despise yourself. Some Jews are evil, most aren't. Likewise some Christians are evil, most aren't.

Both Judaism and Christianity at least have a good message at their core. So "in the long run" they will both have good results if people adhere to them.

And let's not forget that the only Christian to ever really harm the Jews also outlawed Christmas (literally). To say he was a good Christian is beyond ridiculous. He was a communist as much as he was a fascist.

Islam, Hinduism and Shinto -and atheism/socialism/communism hybrids- have an evil message at their core. They will never do good, least of all if people adhere to them.

And to be completely honest, and you can blame this on my considering myself Christian, I get nervous, REALLY nervous when I read the properties and the rights of the "chosen people", not in the Torah itself, but in the books rabbis write about them. Also let's not forget that one of the 613 mitzvot is "To slay the inhabitants of a city that has become idolatrous and burn that city (Deut. 13:16-17) (affirmative)." (the 355th)

I understand that present-day Judaism explicitly refrains from despicable actions like this one. However to say that there are a few mitzvot I disagree with is a huge understatement. I really think that Jesus Christ made a very useful and necessary addition to the Jewish laws. To be completely honest, I really think that islam in the 7th century was an improvement compared to it's contemporary Judaism. To be completely honest, I fear that one day Judaism will be what islam is today : a threat. Literal Judaism, certainly, is a huge threat, which currently is buried deeply in a most gentle people. But I do not fool myself into thinking it will never surface.

And btw. I've seen how Antwerp's Jews treat their neighbours. If that's Judaism (and they most certainly think it is), that is a threat.

I am sorry about the candor of this message. But this is what I believe to be the truth. If you have a good argument for me to change my mind, let's have it. But please don't start like the average muslim "yes it orders mass murder but we 'generally' don't follow it" is NOT an acceptable defense. And don't start with "but christianity follows the same bible" because I've yet to see the first christian book that draws the same conclusion as these mitzvot do.
