This is not entirely fair, Dr. Sanity. Yes, Carter has met and gushed over Arafat, Chavez, Kim, et al. But it's not true that he never criticizes foreign leaders with whom he meets--he made his dislike of Ariel Sharon quite evident.

If I were a cynic I'd suggest that he dislikes foreign leaders who are democratically elected, but since I'm a trusting soul I'll just say I'm not sure how he draws distinctions.

you missed on Carter disaster:

He was the one who helped Mugabe take over Zimbabwe.

The BBC has a scathing report

In former times, Carter would have been shunned and treated as a traitor if not exiled or worse. Today, he is considered by some as a hero. He wishes to return the world to medieval feudalism with him as King subjugating all to his obscene unaccountable whim. He continues to fawn over those he believes have achieved his goal. He is a perfect altruist - willing to sacrifice anyone and anything.

After all, its for the children....

sorry got the link wrong.

How can I get my ass up there on that Cross? I think if you "render" ole Jimmy you end up with his real desire.

Expect him to be praying with Rev. Wright after he returns from his Middle East adventures somewhere in Georgia.

It's good to hate Whitey and America...and those Jews!

Any special wood you want the cross made from, Mr. Carter?

Having lived through the Carter years I am convinced that Carter's inner motivation has always been to knock down America a peg or two.

As President, Jimmahi's only real accomplishment was to become the First American Dhimmi. Now he merely seeks to solidify his all-consuming "legacy" by continuing to try to prove that he was "right" - back in 1979, for example, by bending over for Iran's nascent Jihadists.

However, this time he's also almost certainly "doing it" for money - Hamas', et al: O' Allah, may Jimmahi's pliant "position" thus be established and justly be upon him - pbuh.

That Nobel prize winner label is beginning to appear as socially attractive as was the old scarlet letter! In Carter's case, the prostitution label may fit better.

And to think he does all this without benefit of Alzeimers.

Wasn't Carter what we got the last time America bought the change for change sake mantra?

We had no idea how he would lead, but he was a nice guy....Hmmmmm sounds familiar.

As Americas leading Devils Advocate, i think he would make a splendid ambassador to hell.

"I am convinced that Carter's inner motivation has always been to knock down America a peg or two."

I believe you're right. I think Carter bought in wholeheartedly to the leftist notion of his time that the U.S. was a source of evil in the World. He could never just flat out say so, for political reasons. Note that all his foreign ramblings since he left office have been in defense of leftist dictators. That must mean something.

Maybe the reason he hates democratically-elected leaders is that he never got over getting stomped by Reagan in 1980, and still harbors resentment toward those "little people" who turned him out. Not that his impotent policies and wussified hand-wringing during the Iranian hostage crisis had anything to do with it. Oh, no, of course not. And, Doc, I really could have done without the picture. It's taken me quite a while to wipe the Diet Coke off my laptop:->

Carter found his own niche. (Different strokes for different folks, etc.) Just like the goracle.

In Carter's mind, he never DIRECTLY benefited from those he "supported". Therefore his motives are noble and pure.

If only future historians will acknowledge that point.

Here it is folks, we're getting a preview of what Mr. Obama's foreign policy would resemble.
I'm old enough to remember the washington post headlines that read, "Breznev Lied"; the simple naive reaction of President Carter to the Soviet invasion of afganistan-referring to a promis made at a previous high level summit. I wonder what President Obama's (God forbid) headline would be; "Ahmedinejad Lied"? Let's all take a moment and pray we never find out....

Inscription on the state bases in front of the national archives:
"The past is prologue"
"The price of liberty is eternal vigalence"

That's Carter with Ortega, not Noreiga.

May I suggest the following?

U.S. Constitution
Article III

Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."

Seems to me that he is adhering to our enemies, and giving them aid and comfort. Lock the friggin' traitor up, and then hang him.

"When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that's the dictator, because he speaks for all the people."

Either lock him up or check him for Alzheimer's. Just when I thought he couldn't get any worse, Jimmah comes through again. He reached the bottom during the Iran hostage crisis and has been digging ever since.

If there is one vote of which I am the most sorry it would be the one I cast for Jimmy Carter. What a disaster area this individual has been to this country.

Personally, I don't take Carter seriously. I helped take care of my mother-in-law who was suffering from Alzeimers untill she crossed-over. To me, Carter looks like he is developing Alzeimers(I don't wish that on anybody). Let him talk to these people, but I would sure like to hide a micrphone in the room so we could hear the remarks and laughs after Carter leaves.

It ain't Alzheimer's.
