I'm used to our news media being incompetent and biased, but the reaction to this incident has finally stunned and shocked me. I can hardly believe that the causes of this man's actions could be avoided so completely. Instead, the media talks about irrelevancies like PTSD, which advance their agenda.

The blatant failure of our news media is more than just a reason to ignore them. It is a threat to the safety of innocent Americans and other of the World's people. It remains to whatever honest people there are to talk about the motivation of the jihadis.

If you take just the Iraq war, it's somewhere between 100K and 1M Muslim casualties to around 5K US/Coalition casualties.

Never mind that what they were really going for was to protect "innocent" Muslims from blood thirsty savages, and that many Muslims want American help. Oh, no. Killing any muslim is a terrible sin, ...if done by a Kafir.

The primary purpose of a religion is the instruction in the difference between right and wrong, and they guys get it wrong all the time. Islam is a spiritual toxin.

No it's not, because whatever the number most of the Iraqis killed (BTW, they weren't all Muslim) were killed by Muslims, not coalition forces.

Nice catch. I meant to respond to that, but got distracted. It may also be worth pointing out that the initial estimates of Iraqi dead (a study Soros helped fund) gave outlandishly inflated results.

But, as you point out, the important part is that most were killed by other Muslims. But then, since they hate anyone who kills a Muslim, that gives them an excuse to keep on killing. The Islamic gift that keeps on giving.

Of course, a semi skilled dood with 5 semi literate helper drones on typewriters and using phone books for addresses and names could have complied all the "data" he needed without having to leave the safety of his office.

Ok what is wrong with the whole thing? Someone just quoted a statistic on Iraqi deaths which is so totally bogus, that it is laughable. There is a disconnect with quoting that statistic as though it justifies the actions of the major. It does not.

First of all, our soldiers, that is soldiers from the U.K., USA and Australia were not in Iraq to go on a killing spree. The early news footage shows that there were few casualties amongst the civilian population and even with the Baathist soldiers, since most of them laid down their weapons and just walked away.

So, what went wrong? Well it started with the Sunni and the Shi'ite Muslims fighting and killing each other. Yes, the so called Muslims who are not supposed to be killing other Muslims were killing each other. What this means is that in Iraq the majority of deaths is not due to the action of our soldiers but due to bombs etc that are set by sects within Islam.

On top of that, one of the big losers has been the Chaldean Christians who have lost a lot of their people, including their clergy to the hands of the Muslims, not via the actions of our soldiers.

Second, the role of the remaining military in Iraq is not related to killing anyone. It is a peace-keeping role. The biggest danger to the Iraqi people comes from Al Qaeda operatives from Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations.... oops there goes that leftist narrative.

Third, there is the issue of Afghanistan. Our soldiers do not go out of their way to shoot anyone. Admittedly some Australian soldiers have killed people who have refused to stop and give information. However, most deaths are due to attacks on the soldiers via IEDs etc that come directly from the Taliban.
In Afghanistan we have the similar scenario of warlords fighting each other for control. The Taliban seized rule in the first place and they brought horror to the people... they were not averse to beating, torturing and murdering the women in Afghanistan. So once again we have Muslim killing Muslim.

The big disconnect seems to be the narrative that Muslims are not allowed to kill innocent people. They are not allowed to kill other Muslims, yet in Pakistan, India, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan Muslims are killing Muslims, but you have someone like this Hasan character who gets all uptight about going to Iraq in a non-combative position and his knickers are in such a knot that he goes and kills 13 people, and wounding at least another 30?

If the left and the lame stream media cannot see what is wrong with this picture then they are suffering from what seems to be an incurable delusion.

On the bright side, at least some reporters on your ABC are in fact reporting the real facts and not acting like PC idiots.
