In that case, I'd start with putting every conventional bomber we have in the air in a massive formation and go old school "Dresden" on one of their major cities.

Then I'd nuke another of their major pop centers, just to prove it will be done.

Then I'd let them know that for every time the idiots stuck their heads up and drew my attention, several million more of them would die.

I guarantee they'd be more afraid of mine than I'd be of theirs.

Of course, that's all just passing gas. Sometimes it just sucks eggs having to be the nice guys.

You can't be a nice guy. Hit early. Hit hard. Hit often. Take no prisoners.

Don't apologies that they are dead and you are alive. Make sure the few who live understand the consequence of trying something again.
If anyone complains, ask them if they want to be next.

Then get back to the business of being free, competent, productive, and trading with willing and honoerable trading partners.

It worked with the Brits, the Pirates, the South, the Spanish, the Japanese, the Germans, the Italians and it will work with the Islamics. All we have to do is DO IT!
